Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water. Darrell and Jeanna were excellent hosts; they were friendly and helpful while also being mindful of the importance of the solitude needed to thoroughly enjoy their beautiful property. We will definitely go back for another visit (or more). This visit was towards the end of November, so the shower and privy were welcome comforts in the brisk weather, though also invigorating. Fireside relaxation was the primary activity as we watched an impressive variety of birds by the pond. With the lack of light pollution, the stargazing opportunities were a treat. We hope to be back for the wine harvest next year!

The farm and staff are absolutely fantastic! We had an issue with charges, which they resolved with some investment of time on their part. They all I’ve and beyond in service. 7 nights at 1855 Campground

This was our third consecutive year camping at Bill’s campground, and each time is as wonderful as before (if not more). Bill cares for the land so well and thoughtfully that it’s difficult not to be stunned everywhere you look. Key highlights (besides the joy of wilderness camping) include a variety of terrains, a cold and refreshing creek, a pond, generous wood bundles/refills, and great conversations with Bill. There are plenty of attractions nearby such as Elephant Rocks and Johnson’s Shut Ins, which I highly recommend checking out if you’re in the area. Thank you as always, Bill!

We had a great weekend camping at Such and Such Farm. Our spot was right along the creek. We were the only campers. It’s a beautiful swimming spot. Water is clear. Caught lots of little fish. We didn’t meet anyone but did drive down the road by the farm and saw some of the animals. Love the graffiti art they have around the farm. This place isn’t far away from where we live so it was a great spot to get away without having to go too far.

The host were very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed right there at the campsite. Catching smallmouth in the creek was anwesome and we put them all back for future fishermen. It was a short drive to Johnson Shut-ins one day and the Current river another day. We had a great stay!

Michelle and Paul's land was a simple, well thought out area that provided everything our group needed for a multi-day stay on what was the hottest weekend of the Summer so far! I unfortunately had to leave early, but the rest of our group was able to stay and enjoy the sights in the area as well as at the campground itself. The creek was beautiful, with crystal clear waters and tons of little critters for kiddos (and kids at heart) to find. The reviews are correct that rock hounding was also a solid 10/10 here! Michelle greeted us upon arrival, and had been kind enough to move us to a spot in the shade so that we didn't have to worry about fighting the heat even more. Her directions were spot on, and she was always available either through text, or as she rode around checking on her guests. Amenities such as the bathrooms and shower were simple, which is to be expected when you take the camping route. We were simply happy to have them available!! Lots of enjoyable wildlife, good people, stunning sights, and good memories to be made. We would be happy to stay again! (when it's not 115° index 😅)

We got 2 glamping tents for a 15th birthday- 3 kids, 1 adult, 2 dogs. All enjoyed the stay. Nice pond. Comfy beds. Elizabeth works hard to provide and ensure you have what you need. Farm animals are always lovely to see and be around. Nice patch of property to explore on foot. Shared kitchen area a nice touch (for our ice-cream cake and meals).

1 night at Hawks Bluff Farm Campground

My rock loving son and I spent the night here and my only complaint is we didn’t plan to stay longer! Everything about this peaceful and beautiful land is amazing. We stayed in one of the furnished yurt style tents and it was gorgeous and had so many nice details like fairy lights and a fan! The hosts Elizabeth and Mark really went out of their way to make our stay incredible. My son is an avid rock collector and Mark showed him all sorts of rocks from his collection and even cut a few of the ones we collected. It was hot outside but we still slept well with the fans in our tent. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed and the compost toilets and the showers were clean with great warm water. We started our morning by relaxing in the awesome hammocks by the pond and then visiting all the farm animal's. This is a must visit place for anyone who loves rocks or is seeking a family friendly place to enjoy the outdoors. We are already looking forward to our next trip back!

MY HUSBAND AND I LOVED CAMPSITE 31! IT WAS SECLUDED, SHADED, AND HAS GREAT VIEWS. YOU ARE NOT ON TOP OF YOUR NEIGHBORS. THE BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN. WE DIDN'T GET TO SWIM BUT THE POOL WAS CLEAN AND VERY INVITING. DOG FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. STAFF WAS EASILY REACHED AND NICE ABOUT ME CALLING TO GET FIREWOOD AND STAY AND EXTRA NIGHT. WE VISITED STATE PARKS CLOSE BY, THERE WERE PLENTY OF SWIMMING HOLES WE ENJOYED. THEY HAD A STORE YOU CAN CALL STAFF TO MAKE A PURCHASE, LIMITED MERCHANDISE. WE WERE ABLE TO RELAX AND ENJOY OUR TIME AND PLAN TO GO BACK AS SOON AS WE CAN!

We had such a great time camping here! The host was very nice, and the property was spacious and really peaceful. It wasn’t crowded at all, which made it feel like our own little escape. One of my favorite parts was falling asleep to the sound of the spring right next to our tent. It was so relaxing. My boyfriend and I also explored Elephant Rocks and Johnson’s Shut-Ins while we were in the area.
