3 nights at Creekside Container Cabin

Great camping spot! I took my 2 dogs and we had a blast exploring the creek! 3 night stay. It’s about 30 min to Clear Springs RA so we drove and spent 1/2 day there exploring the walking paths around the lake & then spent a full day at camp on the creek. The water temp was perfect but was cooling down each day. If you plan to utilize the creek for bathing- I never found a deep spot so plan to bring a cup 😂 Pros- beautiful, clean creek & grounds Firewood & potable water available at container home. (Plan to load in your car or bring a wagon as it’s a bit far to just carry) Beautiful star & moon gazing opportunities on the creek, in a grassy area near home & at certain times unobstructed views of moon from the site itself. (The site is tucked in a flat area within the trees which is great for protection and shade!) it opens up closer to the creek so it’s just a matter of moving your chair for a clearer view. There is a convenience store right around the corner which was great for ice. Felt very secluded and private. We heard Fox, coyote, hoot owls, song birds and saw lots of deer tracks. Con: as the owner states there is a little road noise. It didn’t keep us up at night and it was really only noticed during busy times of travel- like people coming & going to work with an occasional big truck and loud gears. It took about 25 minutes to get to town and visit the blues clubs and sites We had 50 amp power and water is available although we didn't need to use it. We had site 3 which for our big rig,but if there would have been someone on site 4 it would have been too tight and we would not have been able to put our slides out. There were restrooms in the building which you are given access to. There is a large pecan orchard, great for walking your dogs.

Wonderful Hipcamp. Beautiful area. The farm and amenities are very well maintained. It was very peaceful and quiet. There are comfortable relaxing areas to sit and enjoy the lake and the views all around. The common shared area is screened and the bathroom was roomy. The bathroom’s hot water was pretty instant and the water pressure in the shower was great. The host and the miniature donkeys are very welcoming! I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

This was so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The bathroom and pavilion were really nice and our campsite near the creek felt so private. We really enjoyed seeing the ducks and geese and cooling off and hiking up the creek. Would love to return. Its magical.

Incredible experience with this amazing family! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Austin and his family have created something truly special here, and it is absolutely worth booking a trip. There was plenty of space for our 40-foot diesel pusher, and I highly recommend the trail horseback riding. My two daughters had such a great time feeding the animals, riding the horses, and enjoying the pool late into the evening. Thank you for giving our family such an amazing memory. We would definitely come back!

Great site has a pool. There is lots to do and a store. Wish the signs were a little better to get to the site, we arrived after the store closed so we had to find our site. Not too difficult but it is a large site.

Our stay was out of the ordinary! It rained and poured and everyone lost power, however that did not stop our host from making sure that we had adequate directions got set up properly and even size off to our next stop. I would definitely recommend this location and totally give it five stars.
