Wonderful tucked away little slice of heaven! Felt very much secluded and it's so done up quaint and cute! With a wonderful lady to set you up and in so it felt like I was at a family cabin not a rental. Prepped with little comforts and luxuries that are so thoughtful! Treasured our time here and we will be back!

Amazing hand built cabin! Host was super cool. Night was very peaceful with only sounds of nature. Morning wake up call from neighbors bobcat backing up beep. Beep. Also sandy trail to cabin was sketchy on a motorcycle

This is an adorable little piece of heaven. Kids would have an absolute blast. We had fun spotting all the wildlife and things that glowed once the sun went down. Nice, quiet,and relaxing.

What a peaceful and secluded spot. Hosts were amazing and the cabin was stocked, adorable, and so clean. Slept to the sounds of nature and enjoyed the open sky while being surrounded by forest. Easy to get to but feels far out there. We will definitely stay here many times.

Weekend Trip to Tucked - Away Cabin
It was an amazing experience when we arrived, and Cathy guided us to the cabin. They provided us with more than we expected. The cabin was very peaceful and quiet most of the time, and secluded. We enjoyed reconnecting with nature without distractions and saw toads, tree frogs, and wood frogs throughout the night. Note that there are many bugs, so be aware if you have a phobia. For warmer days and nights, consider bringing a battery-powered fan for airflow, as the cabin may get muggy. Overall, it was a great anniversary getaway to connect with nature and each other. Thank you again for this experience!

Weekend Trip to The Jolly Treehouse
The spot is private in a wooded area by a pond, and the little cabin is neat. Sleeping on the futon was a little rough on my back, but better than the ground! We hope to come back again, and I'll bring a mattress topper next time. Because the weather had been overcast for a while, there wasn't enough solar power for my little fan or hot plate, but it charged my phone just fine.

1 night at The Jolly Treehouse
The Jolly Treehouse was the perfect place to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday with a quick getaway. It is tucked away in the woods while still maintaining beautiful views of the land around! I purchased the s'more and firewood bundle and had a wonderful time sitting around and enjoying the campfire with my girlfriend. We did some arts and crafts at the campsite, enjoyed the hammock, sat on the bridge that goes over the pond, and played some of the games provided inside of the treehouse. The treehouse itself is a gorgeous space!! We slept with the doors open, as there is netting covering any openings, and listened to the rainfall on the tin roof as we slept. Derek provided wonderful directions pertaining to the rules of the treehouse, and I couldnt have asked for a better time at The Jolly Treehouse(((:

Weekend Trip to The waŋblí tipi
We had such a good weekend in the tipi! Kadyah is a fantastic host - very responsive and kind. Check in was simple and quick. The campsite is woody, toilet clean and convenient. There are many amenities in the tipi, we had everything we needed. Kadyah even made sure we had plenty of bug repellant options so we could enjoy the outdoor space. We used the SUP and kayak for a little paddle out on the water and that was very nice. This is a great camping option!

A great place to relax and get away from the city. The cabin had everything there for cooking and extra blankets and pillows if needed. The woods were perfect for just sitting back by the fire and listening to the sounds of nature.

This a great place! It is obvious that great skill and care went into building the cabin itself and what an excellent site it is on! If you have been looking for a cabin that is not right next to the owner's house or right on a blacktop road, this is the place for you!
The tucked away cabin is back down a windy little dirt road through the woods and is truly surrounded by nature. A great bike trail along the Grand River is literally 5 minutes away. Perfect secluded glamping experience with everything you need including a Solo Stove fire pit that is the most efficient way to burn wood I have ever seen. I will definitely be back to this special place.

Very cute and thoughtfully put together. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our time here. Nice hiking trails and places to check out within a 30-minute drive. Loved hearing the frogs at night, and the surrounding woods on the site. It was so relaxing and comfortable!

2 nights at The Jolly Treehouse
This is SUCH a cute space. Derek has created an adorable spot here, and the treehouse is absolutely full of thoughtful touches that make it feel really special (so many things- a spot for kids to play under the treehouse, an ax for splitting wood if you need it, peppermint oil in the outhouse). I brought my bin of camping basics (lighter, bowl and mug, etc), and found that I didn't even have to open it. I'm definitely more of a backpacker than a glamper, but this went above and beyond glamping. There are some really good mountain biking trails and hiking trails nearby, and it's very accessible to Ann Arbor but also feels quiet and removed from the city. Great stay, and would definitely recommend.

In an area with a lot to do, hikes, downtown Chelsea. The treehouse was clean and comfortable with many thoughtful amenities. Outhouse was clean and odor free. Do not have little kids, but would be an amazing place to bring children, so much for them to do. Host was very available, kind, I had a restorative girls weekend around the campfire!

Weekend Trip to Tucked - Away Cabin
Tucked Away Cabin is my favorite hipcamp spot so far! I’ve been to quite a few sites in the Midwest and this one stood out from the rest! The cabin is truly a gem, hand built by the family, and tucked way back on their property. You can feel the love there! The host family has over 40 acres, if I remember correctly, and there are walking trails all throughout the property. Cathy and her husband are very welcoming and kind and are there if you need anything at all, but you’re so tucked back in the woods that you feel totally secluded and at peace. We felt so relaxed here hearing the sounds of nature, seeing deer, butterflies, cardinals, a blue jay, dragonflys, and even a blue herring overhead and I really enjoyed exploring the property! Cathy is the sweetest and was very accommodating to us and she stocks the cabin very well! Thankfully, I was over prepared but if you are not very experienced in camping or are looking for a private weekend away this is the perfect spot to go! Everything you need is provided from plates to fire starters to Tonka irons! 15/10 I absolutely love this spot and highly recommend it! Stop reading and book!!! You’ll have the best time and go home feeling so grounded and at peace!
