Such a nice little piece of land. The bathrooms were immaculate and I even got a hot shower! It is about 300 ft from main road so we could hear some road noise, but it was also nice to be able to go grab ice, etc from a nearby gas station when needed. Great experience overall :)

We loved our time at the Dragon Adventures Base Camp. Our kids loved playing the beer garden area and challenging themselves on the skills course, the nice grass made a great base for our tents, and the bike repair room was super helpful in taking care of some final tweaks that we ran out of time for before leaving home. The firewood was plentiful and dry, and I really appreciated the kindling cracker at the wood piles.

Wonderful place to stay, whether you are here for mountain biking, water adventures or just looking for a place to rest and relax. Mark and his wife, Amy, were wonderful hosts. We stayed in one of the 4 non-electric camping spots which easily accommodated our 22’ Sprinter Campervan. Our site had a fire ring and picnic table and was a short walk to the beautiful communal fire pit area and fantastic outdoor shower. Everything was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend a stay at Dragon Adventures Base Camp.

Dragon Adventures Base Camp is truly a gem for any outdoor enthusiast looking for a memorable experience in Michigan. The location is absolutely perfect—situated right next to the legendary Dragon Trail, it's a dream come true for mountain bikers and hikers. You can literally roll out of your tent or cabin and be on the trail in minutes.
The facilities are fantastic and show a real thoughtful approach to camping. The outdoor showers with hot water are a massive plus after a day of adventuring, and the "beer garden" area is a great communal space to relax, play yard games, and connect with other campers around a fire pit.
