This 50-acre property is part of a 130-acre farm and is currently an organic heirloom vegetable seed farm that is only 12 minutes from Ann Arbor. Part of it was formerly owned by the Egeler family who at one time owned quite a bit of Marshall Rd and this part of was owned by the Mersereau family. It was formerly a conventional farm, but we've converted it to organic production. The rolling land is 1/2 forest and 1/2 fields, making it a biodiverse hot spot for plants, animals, and fungi.

Very cool historic cabin surrounded by a marsh. My dog had a great time exploring the area. The owners put in a great propane heater and I had a nice warm evening in the cabin. Would definitely return!

Weekend Trip to Baggins Inn
An amazing place to stay if you are looking for a private rustic getaway! My boyfriend and I picked this site to take our 9mo old puppy camping for the first time and it was an incredible experience. We did a lot of hiking, cooking, and relaxing. We saw deer, possums, and turkeys! Just remember to do tick checks!

Weekend Trip to Baggins Inn
My husband and I travel all over the country and we have stayed at unique locations over the years. This was a unanimous vote for our very favorite. The setting is something straight out of the cinema. You have 360 views of nature and serenity. The cabin is an art installation. It’s phenomenal. The attention to detail is incredible. The smell of it is something I’d wear like perfume. There is no power and low reception and that’s just what we were looking for. The bathroom is a short walk from the cabin. We brought cute little camping lights that made our stay all the more magical. The sounds of the forest around you and the way the sun and moon both shine down in the woodland is magnificent. We weren’t even checked out before deciding we need to plan a trip back. 10/10.

We absolutely loved our stay on Michael’s land! We stayed at Site 9 so we had a very secluded spot with an amazing view. It was very quiet and peaceful. The only downside was it was quite a walk back and forth to the porta potty, something to keep in mind, but we didn’t mind the walk, it was nice scenery to walk through.

The space is absolutely beautiful. I understand it's a co op and the members take pride in caring for this campground. With a few club houses, tent camping options, and full hookups, there's no reason to overlook this location if your trip takes you by.
