Peace, quiet and a shower is what we were looking for and what we enjoyed. Serene camping in a beautiful meadow. Sandhill cranes in the distance. Stars and fireflies at night. The facilities are great though everything could use a deep cleaning but if you’re ok with rustic this place is a gem.

Hen and Hive was beyond expectations. Such a beautiful property with private, wooded campsites. When we arrived we were greeted with fresh eggs and water. The fire pit was so spacious and had everything we needed for a fire cooked meal. Pamela was so kind and showed us around the pasture and we got to meet the animals. The outhouse was also a nice touch with the lovely products Pamela makes. Went home with so many goodies! This place is also very queer friendly and safe (:

Stephens little cabin set up was just what my husband n I were looking for a spare of the moment night out. Bathroom and showers were definitely a plus! We look forward to staying here again in our future travels. :)

Weekend Trip to Life Adventures
Very nice place to get away. I rented the 8 x 10 for myself for the weekend. Just the right size with microwave and small fridge. Wonderful woods with trails to walk. Nice covered porch and fire. There is one other cabin and several tent, trailer sites. But everything is spread out enough so you can enjoy some quiet time to yourself. Definitely recommend this place. Wonderful host.

Beautiful area! Our dogs loved it :) we played a lot of fetch and got to walk some of the trails. The owner takes really good care of the lawn areas and trails! The lab came by to say hi and was super sweet. The bed isn’t super comfortable, but, hey, it’s camping! Great price for what you get! Don’t forget to bring your own sleeping bags and pillows! We were in the car about to leave when I remembered, lol. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Hen and Hive Provisions
This campsite is a hidden gem—quiet, cozy, and surrounded by nature. The host was incredibly kind, animals were friendly, and eggs/honey delicious! Perfect spot to relax and recharge.

This was the best camping spot! We normally do camp sites w hookups but this was better!
Fresh water was waiting for us as well as a nice bundle of dry firewood with small twigs and paper to help start the fire! The outhouse was super cute and clean too!
We stayed in campsite #2 and I loved that we couldn’t see #1 or #3!
I definitely recommend coming here if you get the chance!

I stayed in S cabin (8x10). Very basic with futon, microwave, small fridge, electricity. Great covered porch. Make sure to bring a fitted sheet and bedding.
Facilities are about 100 meters away. They could use a nice cleaning, but does the job.
Beautiful trails and plenty of wood.

I love Pamala’s farm! The sites are private and the outhouse is a bonus. I don’t forget to wander over and say hello to all of the goats, sheep, chickens and more. She even has fresh eggs and honey from her hives. Everyone is so friendlily and helpful. It’s a magical place!
