Provemont Pond which lies across M-204 is a lovely natural area with many trails. Shopping or rock hunting in historic Fishtown, aka, Leland is 6 minutes by car, a bit longer by bike. We are just minutes to several Lake Michigan beaches, Suttons Bay and Northport. Drive 25 minutes to Traverse City to the Southeast or 33 minutes Southwest to Sleeping Bear Dune climb and the quaint village of Empire. Lots to enjoy for the foodies as well. Aside from the many wineries and distilleries, you can find Nittollos italian fare and stone fired pizza. Our property has many open areas to park, some very level, some not. We have woods and a large hill area with lots of birds and wildlife to see. We can accommodate large rigs, small rigs, and all in between. Pets are welcome but must be leashed as we have two of our own dogs. If you have any questions or needs, do not hesitate to ask, we will always try to accommodate. Jeannie & I loved Phil & Stormy's Place. It was quiet this time of year, and we were lucky to be the only folks at their Camp. They definitely had made it their own, and have great amenities. Firewood & Firepit, 30 amp service, a water hose , picnic table & dry kindling.. 2 Porta Potties on site, and a RV cleanout. Great Wooden games around the site for folks enjoyment. Phil is a world renown Game maker who makes Games and interesting items, which he makes in his shop on site. Sends it all around the world. Besides meeting Phil and Chit chatting, because we are both Hip Camp Hosts, Phil gave us a tour of his Shop and woodworking area. Pretty impressive. He was a great host, and is Passionate about Kubb, a Yard game that was originally played overseas, but because of Phi, brought the game to the US. He actually has his own playing field. We plan on visiting again, as we loved the vibe

The school bus was great! We took our 2 year old on a long trip in Michigan and stayed at multiple 5 star hotels. What was his favorite? The school bus! We enjoyed late night fires and easy slow wake ups! Our son particularly enjoyed opening and closing the bus door manually. In summary, we made fond memories in the school bus!

It was a cute little spot. Sites 1-3 are right together and would be perfect for a group! You’d be right together and the kids could play all around you. They had campfire wood at the spots and starting materials next to square picnic tables with umbrellas in them. The shower is an outdoor one and they had a porta potty for a bathroom but it was very clean. I would go there again. Our motorhome fit very nicely there.
