Pineleaf has a total of 4 campsites! 3 are primitive and 1 rustic cabin with more cabins to come in the near future. The primitive sites sleep up to 15 people and 8 tents. The cabin sleeps up to 5 guests and is handicap accessible! and can also put tents near the cabin.
The camp is cannabis friendly for 21+ with id and complimentary with the exception if you dont want to smoke/cunsume cannabis its optional. No alcohol allowed at the camp but you may go up town or down to The Hideaway Bar & Grill for a bite and a drink!

Four full hook-up sites. Max RV length is 38' depending on what site you book! Sites #1 and #2 can accommodate a 32' RV and Sites #3 and #4 can accommodate a 38' RV. If your RV is over 38' we cannot accommodate you. You must back into the driveway from the road (there are no pull through sites). Our driveway is 15' - 20' wide for ease of backing up. 20/30/50 amp electrical, sewer, water, internet WIFI (100mbs), fire pit (please do not move fire pits), and a picnic table are included for each site. Trash bin is at the road. The sites are level, consist of crushed concrete gravel covered by 6a stone, and are 12' wide. One family per site unless you are booking as a group. Check-In is 1:00 p.m. and Check-Out is 11:00 a.m. At this time, we DO NOT accommodate stand alone tent camping as we have no restroom facilities.
Pets are welcome but we ask that you clean up after them, be mindful of other guests, and be respectful of our neighbor's property. IF YOUR PET IS ON THE NEIGHBOR’S PROPERTY YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE and no refund will be provided.

We are on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful, quiet, one acre property surrounded by deep wooded forests. If you are looking to get away, this is it! A private, full hook-up, RV campground with all the amenities including high speed internet. This is glamping at its BEST! You will not find a more charming place so close to the lakes of Northwest Michigan's lower peninsula and all within driving distance to the coolest cities. In full disclosure, we are not a commercial resort campground or a state park: this is our family property. We are excited in the joy and happy moments this land brings to our family and others. If you want a place with a hundred sites and tons of people around you this is not going to be a place you want to stay.
Bring your boats, canoes, kayaks, bathing suits, and fishing poles! Less than a 3 minute walk to Echo Township Park (Six Mile Lake) with beach, playground and boat launch (yes, you can literally walk there). 25 minutes to Torch Lake Township Day Park (Torch Lake), Antrim Creek Nature Area (Lake Michigan), Norwood Township Park (Lake Michigan), Elm Pointe Recreation area (Lake Charlevoix's South Arm), or Notewares Landing Beach (Lake Bellaire). This is by far the coolest place east of the Mississippi to hit rivers, streams, and lakes.
Hiking at its best! Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area Trailhead (Bellaire); Avalanche Preserve (Boyne City); Sleepy Hollow Nature Preserve (East Jordan); and Northpoint Nature Preserve (Charlevoix).

Tim is a awesome host. He came out to bring some wood, and we ended up doing a 2hr session during the rain.
The care package made for a great night.

Timothy was a great host. Very resonspive. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with essentials. Port a potty by the cabin was also very clean. Should highly recommend and we will go back again

We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves very much Tim the host was awesome and the goodie bag was especially awesome. My friend just loved it. We would definitely go again and we recommend it to anyone that really likes the outdoor and privacy there is trails to walk on in and if you forget something, there’s a little storage just down the road little pricey the guy is very friendly. Have a great time up there. We definitely looking to go again here shortly maybe before the end of his season ends.

Upon arrival he had a goodie bag and wood to get us through the first night. He was quick to respond to questions, provide wood, and had great recommendations. Pineleaf was perfect for us. It was the ideal rustic experience in a beautiful stand of hardwoods. The forest floor felt nice on bare feet. The campsites are nicely spaced, not too close to neighboring sites. Tim was great and very helpful. Thank you, Tim!

5 Stars – Perfect Remote Getaway, Especially for Dog Lovers!
I had a fantastic stay at this cabin over the 4th of July weekend! I traveled with my three large dogs, and it couldn’t have been a better fit. The cabin is extremely dog-friendly, with a great setup that made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived.
The porch was a definite highlight—perfectly set up for relaxing and taking in the peaceful, natural surroundings. Even during a busy holiday weekend, it was so quiet and secluded that we didn’t hear any other campers nearby. It truly felt like our own private retreat.
The owner, Tim, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He was quick to respond to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.
As noted in the listing, the bathroom is a portable toilet with an outdoor sink, which worked just fine for our needs, especially considering how remote and rustic the cabin is.
If you’re looking for a quiet, remote escape where your dogs are not only welcome but truly accommodated, this is the place. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The cabin is nice, just the right size! The porch is a nice touch which allows you to hangout & cook your food. The field you over look on the porch is really nice! We had our 3 big dogs with us (2 being 100+ pound bully’s & the other being about 60 pounds doodle) we had stakes with leads on them and it was the perfect area for us to have them. The cabin was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably! He keeps little trash bags to pick up after your pups if you forget bags. I would definitely recommend staying here! Tim is very nice & makes sure you have everything you may need. He was very helpful with any questions we had, and has recommendations if you are looking for something specific to do. The bed was very comfortable, we were worried as we have stayed in some air bnbs with some of the worst beds but his is so comfortable we were able to get right to sleep! The bathroom is a portable toilet with an outdoor sink, if anyone was curious. We had a great time & totally recommend, especially for those with dogs who need somewhere for them to be able to have some room!

Tim was a great host and I would recommend this site based just on my interactions with him, but the site was great too! The site was well kept and probably one of the most private sites I’ve ever camped at. There is a portable toilet up by the cabin which was incredibly well maintained and frankly smelled amazing (something I didn’t know was possible until my stay lol). It had recently rained when visited but had some time to dry out, so I didn’t have any issues getting back to the site but I would recommend exercising caution if you don’t have 4wheel drive and there is heavy rain in the forecast as it is a rustic site. Overall, I think this site is well worth the cost (especially considering the 420 friendly gift bag and free bundle of wood on your first night) and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

My husband and our two kiddos (4 & 7) stayed for two nights in the cabin. It was so relaxing and felt like we were deep in the woods. Timothy was amazing from the start. I had asked if we could possibly check in early and he was okay with that. We ended up having car trouble on the way to the cabin and didn't check in until dinner time. He was so great about the whole thing and had even turned the heater on in the cabin before we arrived because it was a cool night. The cabin and bathroom were both clean.
Timothy was lovely to chat with and was available by phone or in person at any time. He gave us a complimentary bundle of fire wood, a goodie bag, and three gallons of water.
Pineleaf and Timothy are both wonderful and we plan to stay again in the future. A tranquil, quiet place to stay and a very accommodating host!

Tim was an exceptional host! The property is beautiful! The is no shortage of nature and tall leafy trees. No noisy traffic and no camping neighbors near each other. The cabin was equip with more than enough “oops I forgot my…” items. Pet friendly, clean, well taken care of well loved piece of serenity.

First time using HipCamp and I picked a great place for it. Ended up leaving a night early, just due to the weather decided it wanted to be winter again, in May, and me and my wife only trying to survive one night in a tent 😂

I’m writing this review while sitting on the deck shortly after sunrise. Tim, the host is absolutely awesome! He greeted us at a meeting spot to lead us to the cabin, it is very secluded and hidden away in the woods. Once we got to the cabin I was more than pleasantly surprised to discover the cabin not only has a nice little fireplace heater for the chilly Michigan nights but there’s also a small refrigerator that helped a lot! Tim gave us a goody bag at check in that had yummy happy treats! He also provides the first night of wood for free, only $5 a bundle after that. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to extend it a night. We will absolutely be back!
