My friend and I stopped here during a multi-day road trip and had the best time! The farm is beautiful and the campsite is idyllic and has lots of amenities. Molly was so kind and communicative throughout the reservation. I cannot say enough good things about this site and the host. I am already making plans to return, hopefully for more days next time.

I stayed a few nights at the Deer Grove site and it was amazing! Very private and had just enough shade. Location is perfect being just a few minute drive into town. This was my first experience using Hipcamp, and I am so glad I found it. Frank and his wife were so kind and accommodating. I hope to stay here again.

My family stayed at 2 chicks and a farm and loved it. We were greeted with a welcome basket and a tour. Everything was very clean. We were given a fan in our tent and they had complimentary coffee and snacks. The animals were wonderful and friendly. The worst part was my son getting attached to a cat and having to leave. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

I was at the Farm camping at Mike's Place with my grandson. We had so much fun. He was able to enjoy the farm animals and especially the cats! Julie and Theresa were so kind! Tent ready to go, a welcome basket with so many camp things! It is so peaceful. I am going back with two other grands in a few weeks! If you are looking for a camping experience but are not equipped with camping gear, this is the place for you!

This campsite was so wonderful, we had an amazing time! The farm is full of friendly animals, we loved meeting all the cats! The hosts clearly go above and beyond to keep everything clean and well-maintained. They were extremely welcoming and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! Big thank you to Julie for such a great stay, and for cultivating such a beautiful space 😊

Great, private little hideaway in South Haven. Very centralized location to everything. Second official stay at the farm and it was top tier yet again! Frank is always on point and quick/easy to communicate with. The Ritz site is amazing and spacious. The grill is a great amenity offered at this site along with table and chairs. Highly recommend any of the four sites at Sunflower Farm!

My first time using this app and I was a perfect first experience. Lovely little site worked perfectly for a last minute and unexpected two night camping trip. Host is super nice and takes great care of the property. Felt super comfortable staying the night alone as a woman. Highly recommend camping here and if I’m ever in the area and in need of a place to camp this is where I’ll be heading.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect get away for our family. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the campsite was pristine. My kids loved seeing the alpacas and visiting the farm store where they looked at trinkets, stuffed animals and socks made from alpaca fiber.

Loved camping here! Good instructions to get to the correct campsite, with a personalized welcome sign when I got there. The host welcomed me to meet their animals which was so much fun (and I got to feed the Alpacas!!). Loved the oldschool bus (Hope they turn it into a unique campsite) and the flowers. I was on a solo trip but my family would have loved it as well - places for people to sit together, swing set, basketball hoop with multiple basketballs, and other stuff to do. Definitely recommend.

This was a wonderful overnight trip with my three year old for his first camp-out. Julie and Madison provided excellent hospitality and communication. The animals were a big hit and we got to hold, feed and play with several of them. The grounds were well kept and the yurt was spacious and clean. Some really nice touches with the welcome basket, firewood on site and comfy camp chairs. And I can’t express how much I appreciate the cleanliness of the outhouse—especially with a toddler!

This was such a beautiful, secluded place to camp with our three tiny kids! Francesco even helped haul our stuff to the site in via his tractor. If you have little kids and plan on going in and out of town, I’d definitely recommend the Ritz (closest site to where cars are parked)!

2Chicks And A Farm

7 camp sites, 1 RV site, 3 Yurts, a Bohemian camp site, and new this year a TeePee Site and Hammock site. For a total of 13 options. 2Chicks And A Farm is a small working farm on 20 acres, owned and run by Julie and Theresa Graham. We are 13 minutes from South Haven and the lake. 30 minutes from the city of Kalamazoo. And just under an hour from Grand Rapids. About half of the 20 acres is wooded, which is where three of our camp sites, Hammock Haven are located. Each site has a fire ring & picnic table. One site, capable of taking a mid sized RV / Fifth Wheel, is located on the front of the property with easy access from the road. It backs up to some trails and brush/wood area and has a corn field to the right. So, even though on the front on the property, you have a feeling of privacy. It too has a fire pit and picnic table. Three camp sites are located in the pasture. One is at the bottom of the pasture (1) and quite open. It can accommodate larger groups with multiple tents. A more secluded site (5) is half open and half in light woods., and is located at the top of the pasture. The others are in the middle of the pasture, 2 for sun lovers and 3 for those who prefer more shade. For those who prefer more seclusion, we have cleared three sites in the woods. All sites have a fire ring, or metal fire pit, and picnic table. Some have fire wood boxes (we’re working on making a box for all sites). We have an outdoor propane shower that provides both hot and cold water. This is free. A coffee bar is on the back deck. Coffee is brewing around 7am. We also provide hot water, teas, hot chocolate and cider. Feeling a little peckish before breakfast, or after dinner? Help yourself to a snack. This is all free, though small donations are welcomed. Our goats, poultry, pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs and produce take up about an acre and a half. Then the rest is open space. You are welcome to collect eggs for breakfast and fresh produce from our gardens (additional fee). Use the BBQ or smoker. And even join in on farm chores if you are so inclined. Please try to plan to check-in by 9pm. Exceptions can be made. There are locally mandated quiet hours (10-7 Sun through Thur, and 11-7 Fri and Sat). Hanging out by a fire and chatting is fine.
