Harvey’s Hill is a private hilltop campsite with 360° sky views, unbeatable stargazing, and access to our rustic Cantina featuring bathrooms, warm running water, and a basic kitchen. Just 10 minutes off the highway in Epping, NH, it’s the perfect stopover or peaceful escape.
Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope.
Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics.
The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Surround yourself in the natural beauty of a working flower farm in Maine in this quiet, secluded location that's close to area beaches, lighthouses, and more. Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. An open field next door plays host to numerous deer and turkeys, and the flower fields feature a rotating lineup of beautiful blooms (depending on the time of the season.)
We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road.
Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight.

My husband, our small dog, our indoor cat and I camped on Julie's property in our truck camper for three nights. We were looking to relax after a very busy time, and happily we were able to do so here. Throughout our stay, Julie maintained a nice balance between being present and available to us and totally allowing us our privacy, which we really appreciated. We used the electricity she provided, which was very helpful, and we didn't need water, which was also offered to guests. Although Julie sells her own organic products, she did not try to sell us anything while we were there. We were encouraged to make full use of her property, which has a very nice back yard with a little table and chairs and two very comfy looking cushioned chairs that I wished we'd had the weather to sit out on. It was windy and rainy for most of this weekend, and we were visiting friends and family elsewhere some of the time. We did spend a very nice first afternoon there having a leisurely lunch at the backyard table. We recommend Julie's property for your stay, and we will most likely return for another weekend in the near future.

Great experience. Met the host right when I arrived. Very convenient location to Concord and all of the Thoreau sites. I was left alone (which I always like when camping), and the site had a nice view off the back for stargazing at night. Would use it again if I am in the area.

Lovely spot! Easy to find, and the host is readily available by phone. Enjoyed the beautiful little pasture behind the parking spot with white-tailed deer, as well as the running path (Bruce Freeman Rail Trail) nearby for a morning jog through the forest boasting gorgeous fall colors. Plus, took the kids across the street before bedtime to play on the elementary school playground - perfectly accessible, yet felt very private. Would definitely recommend/would stay again.

This family is a perfect example of what hipcamp hosts should all be like. We were on the road and booked this camp on the afternoon. We knew from the start that we would be late arriving. That was ok by them. It turned out that it was after 10pm when we arrived. We did our best to set up our roof top tent quietly. We have two beagles so quiet is relative, I suppose. Anyway, it was midnight before we got into bed. The next morning, the host came out to meet us with his little girl in tow (I think it was the other way around). Almost as soon as he introduced himself, his little girl held her hands out and said, "Can I meet them?" She was looking directly at the boys and they were looking at her with their tails wagging. It was pretty much love at first sight on all their parts. Anyway, they allowed us to charge up the Jackery and they even let us crate the boys next to their house so we could get out and do a little shopping. These people, all three of them, were the best hipcamp hosts you could ever hope for. They were gracious, accommodating and very friendly. They have created a beautiful little spot big enough for a single camper, and the setting looks like a park. They even have a little stone path that leads to a fire pit. As we were packing up to leave, the whole family came out to see us again and the daughter demanded a picture with the boys... and she made us promise to come back next summer. We plan to keep that promise. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

This is such a a nice and tranquil location, peaceful as the name says. There is plenty of space for your vehicle or RV and then a large side and back yard for any camping equipment you might have, along with firepit and chairs. A beautiful tree dominated the area providing excellent shade. Julie is a very helpful host and has good conversations!

Julie was a fantastic host. She was extremely welcoming and her place was everything we needed. The driveway spot required no leveling and had both electric and water very close. It fit our 23’ camper trailer just fine with plenty of room for the truck as well. Location is perfect for access to beaches, parks and a little over an hour from Boston. Highly recommend and we will be back when we visit next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping at Shawn’s property while on a trip to Canada. It was beautiful, peaceful, and serene. The location was easy to find and very accessible. Shawn provided a nice spot for a fire to top off our evening stay. We would definitely book this spot again when passing through to other parts of Maine and Canada.
