PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. AT THIS TIME WE ARE OUT FOR THE SEASON. The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river. Farm encompasses nearly 300 acres on the Patuxent River. There is access to the river on high tide via our private creek (must bring your own canoe or kayak) and 150 acres of marshland. Over 100 acres of woods to walk through and a pond for wildlife watching. The 3,510 acre forest was once the winter camping ground of the Piscataway Tribe because of the mild climate and abundance of game. Legend claims that there is a Native American burial ground within the forest... but it has yet to be found. Spooky! Equestrian, family and youth group campsites are available for your overnight stay. 19.5 miles of horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking trails weave through the forest. In Delaware cities like Milford, Milton, Rehoboth or Lewes are top rated. Whether it's city, sand, seafood or beach festivals you desire, you're only within an hour or less away. We have created an off the grid, calming nature experience for you to enjoy privately. You will be surrounded by forest, tilled farms, horse farms and an abundance of wildlife. Native and wildflower gardens, fruit and nut trees were all planted just steps away from your tent areas in September 2024. Giving you a place to unplug from the everyday chaos and enjoy all nature has to offer. We even made a space that includes everything one needs to have a Forest Tea Party. Inside Uncontained, read a book or play a board game in this cozy shipping container we repurposed for you. Or just take shelter from a summer pop up thunderstorm. Nature provided a hammock area amongst the tall pine trees and we provide 7 hammocks to nap in. We also provide, chairs for the fire pit, picnic tables, charcoal grill, a propane cooktop. You can't truly enjoy our space without walking the short on Jeremiah Dixon and Charles Mason Trail. A path they would have taken in the 1700’s. Adventure through the forest and over the small creek to our homestead to place one foot in both States at the historical Mason Dixon marker under the old wild Cherry tree. Be sure to stop at the 8ft bluish grey farm gate to pets the Goats, Dixie (brown) Dolly(blonde) and Star(black).

Great spot, secluded enough, loved hearing the sound of the creek all night. Picnic tables and bench seats were a great ad as well requiring less fear to pack in.

Lovely location. Host is very attentive and kind. Power works great and water is conveniently located. Property is very large but parking is very close to owners home which is on property. Not bad but something to be aware of. We had a great time

We had a wonderful time at Jill’s property for an overnight trip with our camper. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoy the peaceful countryside while exploring the pond and beautiful tree covered driveway. Jill’s communication has been the best we’ve experienced this far!!

My niece goes camping twice a year and I hijacked this fall trip. I selected Yates’ site because of the quiet and tranquil surrounding and we were not disappointed. Tucker, Yates’ cousin, met us at check-in with the sweetest dog. We found site 3 easily and setup went smoothly. Site 3 is shady and offers views of the Patuxent River and a nice swampy area below. Loved the sounds of birds, fox…night life. I wasn’t expecting all the Daddy Long Legs and various other spiders. Thank God my niece was there to save me, lol. We brought our own wood, but there was kindling/small branches at the site that we also took advantage of. We played it forward and left the same for the next camper. I would definitely stay here again, just not at Site 3. I think Site 1 is open without the abundance of trees and prayerfully less bugs.

2 nights at Bald Eagle Farm on the Patuxent

I stayed here with my two dogs and we had such a great time. It’s incredibly peaceful. No traffic noise, no people, just nature. Being able to let the dogs off leash without worrying was AMAZING. They ran around, swam, sniffed everything… they were living their best lives. We explored some of the local hiking spots during the day and did some fishing. At night the sky was unreal. You can actually see the stars and moon without any light pollution. We even saw the international space station. Super quiet at night too—just frogs and wind. Yates, the owner, was really nice. He told me ahead of time that his sons would be driving by early in the morning so I wouldn’t be surprised, which I appreciated. Other than that he totally gave us space and let us do our thing. Overall just a really relaxing, low-stress place to camp. If you want quiet, space, and a chill vibe (especially if you have dogs), this place is perfect. This is going to be my new go-to spot.

Great site and beautiful property overall! There was plenty of space for our fifth wheel to turn around and park. Power and water is conveniently located, and easy to use. The location is convenient to Cambridge and Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Great site and friendly host - we will be back if we are in the area again!

Loved it! Quiet, secluded camping. We didn't have any neighbors at the nearby sites even on a Friday night. Sites are clean and well kept with neat features built by the owners. Loved listening to the creek rapids at night. Was a great experience for my niece's first time camping. We will be back for 2 nights next time as 1 wasn't enough!
