There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach. Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. First listing actually has several options. For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills. Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills. For those with 4WD and an off-road camper/trailer/tent choose Off the Grid, two entrances for easy access, travel along a logging road to an open site with fire pit. Suitable during dry conditions and not responsible for damage to vehicle or camper. Great spot for those who truly want to be in the woods off the beaten path, site takes about 5 minutes to reach due to low-speed access.

You can hike, bike, climb, and swim at 2 or more of these locations. Tucked Away Acres is just that, we are tucked away behind other houses. The property backs up to power lines where deer can be seen often. We offer a large fire pit, horse shoe pit, small playground, trampoline, swings, and a small zip line over the creek in the woods. Horseback riding is available on certain weekends only (weight limit of 180 lbs) for an extra charge. Type of riding depends on skill level, leadline to guided trail ride. Randy and Carol are awesome. This is my 3rd stay on their property. I would return and will return. The lot is spacious and easy to get a 38 foot 5th wheel into.

Wow!!! My friends and I all loved this site, we'll definitely be coming back here, might not go to another site again. Easily accessible from DC, and the environment was absolutely perfect. Lots of room for lots of people, gorgeous surrounding, nice walking around the area, lovely views from the water too.

Easy to find site but definitely have an off road capable vehicle to cross the stream. Low slung sedans won't make it Camp site was clean, flat, and private. Only major criticism is easier access to the Porta John. You need to drive back across the stream to get to it as the sewer pipe cannot be used to walk across. Driving out isn't always a option with tents in the way. My other personal opinion is the fire ring could be bigger. Seemed too small for such a large site

Had a great time tent camping here! The site was the perfect size and nicely situated next to the creek and away from other sites. We had a little trouble finding our way to the site but we were in the dark 😅 had no trouble crossing the river and the area felt very safe. Would recommend!

Overall, this was a great camping spot — beautiful views and an easy walk to the river. The only downsides were that it could’ve been cleaned up a bit more (some faded signs and a little trash here and there), and our site was closer to the road than expected, so there was some traffic noise. And while not the campground’s fault, there were so many spiders! That said, I’d still be more than likely to come back — no place is perfect, and that’s part of the camping experience!

What a great find in Anne Arundel County. This is a beautiful and well maintained property and only 40 minutes from my front door. Site 1 was spacious and had room for two trucks and tents. Communication was great and Randy provided easy to follow directions. We will be back for sure!

We absolutely love this campsite! This was our third time staying here, and it gets better every year. The site itself is very private, spacious, and well-maintained — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors without feeling crowded. Derek, the owner, is always incredibly accommodating and goes above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need. We plan to keep coming back every year — it’s become one of our favorite getaway spots!

This was a beautiful space and we had a great time. I’d recommend renting both sites. We loved walking to the river. The facilities were clean and a step up from the primitive camping we were expecting.

Lovely spot with easy access to the site (beware you must have a vehicle with ample clearance for a stream crossing) and river access just over a small hill from the camp area. Note: you cannot see the river from the camp site. And if you are wanting a very quiet experience think again because there is a continuous hum of traffic from Route 15, day and night. There is a nice circular walking path if you want to take a stroll around the fields. For something close to Baltimore it's a good option.

My son’s first time camping and I have been waiting until he was old enough to take him and teach him all I learned at his age. This was amazing! Excellent site, plenty of room, stocked some firewood for us to get started, and just generally an amazing first camp with my boy. Not too far away either, and was just a cool site right by the river. Couldn’t be better and Will never forget this site!

28 nights at Redemption Springs Farm

Our experience with this farm was a bit different than most people’s stays, as we’re an organization that supported a family in need by placing our transitional housing camper here for 28 days. From the moment we arrived, Seth and Stephanie were incredibly warm and welcoming, giving the family the space and grace they needed to heal and transition during a difficult time. The farm was absolutely the perfect setting for this season of life. The open fields and natural views provided a peaceful, restorative environment that you simply can’t find in more traditional settings. There’s something deeply healing about being surrounded by nature and wide-open spaces. The kids were entertained watching the chickens, geese, turkeys, and sheep wandering about the property. These simple joys made such a meaningful difference during their stay and created sweet memories during a challenging transition. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling through the area, but also to locals who want a new taste of their own community. This farm offered our family something truly special - a safe harbor and a chance to experience beauty and peace during a time they needed it most. Seth and Stephanie’s kindness and the tranquil setting made all the difference. Thank you for opening your property to families like ours!

My group of 4 loved Site 5! There was so much space, had its own trail to the creek, and was pretty easy to find. I was surprised that we had to drive through a shallow creek to get there but it wasn’t a problem! We went on a hike in Fredrick Municipal Forest (~25 min away) where there are plenty of trails. We went mid-october and the foliage was scenic. Overall a great trip, a great location, and site! Thank you!

We had a great camping experience! Site 3 was private and well covered by trees which blocked some light rain. Great for dogs! Everything was as described. There is a small farm stand close to the property that sells fire wood.
