To enter, turn onto Powers Drive and take a sharp left into the first driveway and onto the grass back toward rte 1. Park parallel with Powers Drive Lane near the big oaks. Pajaritaflora Artist Studio/Gallery is located here. I am an artist. Welcome to my studio property. There is a long spacious spot for most sizes RV. It has level grass for you to park on. There is a group fire pit area on the grounds for everyone. Many people do not need electricity these days. So I have lowered the price of the spot. It is without electricity. You can add it on if you wish at $20 per night. You will need a long extension, and it is 20 amps. I have water for your holding tank. Sorry, no sewer. This is an excellent spot for a short stay. It is good if you need to be here a couple of days prior to your campground stay! I have been enjoying hosting campers here for the past two seasons. I can't wait to meet you! Sunrise Shores Hideaway

We have an inviting, cozy 2-bedroom cottage on Flanders Pond. The sunrises are fabulous, there is a private dock with kayak and canoe in the summer, hammock hanging between the shade trees, firepit for evenings outside and lots of stargazing to do! Unplug, recharge, and get away from all the hustle & bustle. We do have a TV for the occasional rainy-day movie, with 2 comfy recliners in the loft. The living room, however, has a fabulous view, not only of the sunrises but sunsets across the pond on the other shore. Grab a glass of wine, sit on the couch and watch the sky change right before your eyes. Approximately 45 minutes from Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor or 35 minutes from Acadia National Park at Schoodic Point. Spend the day exploring Ellsworth, Bar Harbor or Downeast, hiking one of the many trails or mountains we have nearby, or hang out here swimming, paddling, fishing or napping. Regardless of what you do during the day you will find Sunrise Shores Hideaway very restful, calm and welcoming when you return. With a full kitchen to cook some delicious Maine food and a spa-like bathroom to soak in the tub or shower before you head to bed, you will be well rested and ready for the next adventure. The downstairs bedroom has black out shades and a closet to hang your clothes. The upstairs bedroom has dresser for your clothes, a skylight for stargazing as you drift off to sleep and eye masks if the moon is too bright or you want to sleep past sunrise. I guarantee you will want to be up having a cup of coffee on the deck watching the show the sunrise puts on. We have a designated workspace for those who must bring work with them, and Wi-Fi to get connected. Our land is great for those who travel with their dogs, we have a pet bed and if your fur baby is well mannered and friendly, being off leash is fine.

It was a really great stay and super quiet. Walmart is 30 minutes away and the privy is one of the cleanest that I've seen and it has an led light. The communication was crystal and I highly recommened this spot!

Weekend Trip to Four Acre Woods Island Campground

We absolutely loved our stay at Four Acre Woods Campground. If anything we wish we had stayed longer! The campsite was out on a very quiet island, truly not too far from our outings. We stayed on the primitive secluded site which was absolutely perfect. It was very spacious, with tons of privacy, located steps away from the community cabin. We wish we had more time to enjoy the community cabin as it was warm, filled with books, games, cookware, utensils, lanterns, ice, tea, coffee, local guides and cozy sofas. Our campsite additionally had a private walk way to the bathrooms, which we were pleasantly surprised by for a campsite! The shower was equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash if needed, and the bathroom was as clean as you could possibly expect a campsite bathroom to be! Firewood was easy to purchase and bring over to our campsite which we appreciated. The hosts were very kind and helpful and we truly hope to be back again next year to hopefully spend a much longer stay at the four acre woods and get a chance to experience the onsite sauna :) thanks so much for having us! Would 110% recommend. (Ps. Just beware of deer and wildlife on the drive in, it is deer isle after all ;) )

Quarrys Ledge was wonderful ! From the hospitable staff to the beautiful grounds, we had a great stay! The bathrooms were definitely note worthy as well, always clean and stocked. We stayed in a waterfront site which was definitely worth the extra money in my opinion. However, even the other campsites looked great. I also love that they gave an option to add firewood to the reservation - saved us a trip to the store! I highly recommend and would come back again!

We loved staying in our little cabin for the week! Plenty of room for two of us and all our supplies, firewood and ice were available on the property and checking in/ out was a seamless process! This campground was the perfect place for us "home" during our fall visit to Acadia. We are a self-contained unit when we are on the road. That being said, it was nice to hook upto power and refill our water tank during our stay. It was also nice to have hot showers available. The campground was quiet at night. I slept well at night. The site was very close to all of the hikes on MDI. Some just down the road, trailheads no more than a 30 minute drive away. The site firm ground and fairly level. Perfect for our campervan. Being on the westside of MDI, it is away from the constant traffic that you face near Bar Harbor. We would recommend staying here.

Very scenic sites. Close to Acadia. LShowers and bathrooms were extremely clean and appeared brand new. Sites are close together. Our first night was not full so we had plenty of privacy. The second night we had fellow campers in very close proximity. Not a deal breaker, but something to know. The bathrooms, showers and location are hard to beat.
