We are one of the first farms in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and was originally the first stage coach stop for the area. Our house built in 1750s and at one point had hundreds of acres passed down which were passed down
from a kings grant The original area was named after the original settlers, the Browns. Our house was also tavern in the beginning. This property has only passed hands through 4 families and remained with the Browns for most of its life.
It has stayed as a farm for most of its tenure. We own 40 acres of pasture and woods and would love for you to come stay!

Family owned property obtained through the barter system. You shingle my barn and I'll give you that property. My Pappy's land. 11 acres. Recently cleared for its timber. With some landscaping it became clear that beautiful campsites were forming. My father is 78 years old. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes,concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season.
2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet.
Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any.
2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience.

2025 had some complications unfortunately. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to invite anyone to my property. Consider yourself invited for the 2026 season. My favorite Hipcamp so far! Stunning property with amazing views, tons of privacy and almost no road noise & light pollution. The cabin is very spacious & comfortable and the outhouse is very clean. There’s even an actual flush toilet & shower. Joe met us with some fresh raspberries & a warm welcome. My after dark walk with my dogs was my most memorable moment - nothing but nighttime insect sounds, moonlight & the wind in the leaves. We will definitely be back - truly a very special place!

This Hipcamp was absolutely gorgeous. The land was filled with wildflowers and fruit, and you can tell so much heart and soul went into creating and caring for this property. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and even better than the pictures online. The house was cozy and comfy with everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay. The view, the outhouse, so much attention to detail! Truly a special spot—we’ll definitely be back!

Joe is a great host! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay this weekend. The setting is very private, lending quite the romantic and relaxing feel. The cabin itself was very comfortable and clean, with stunning views over the hills and the meadow in front.
It’s so well stocked that we only had to bring clothes, food, and drinking water. There’s even a pour over coffee setup!
If you wait until late afternoon when the sun has warmed up the water tank, you can shower while looking over the majestic ridge. While we were unable to take advantage of the brick oven pizza this time, we came home with an abundance of fresh blueberries picked right from the farm!

We were looking for a bit of post-hiking R&R with our dog, and we came to the right place. The Owl's Nest combined a beautiful and secluded landscape with a cabin that was artfully and thoughtfully crafted from top to bottom. As previous commenters have noted, despite it's cozy size, we didn't feel as though any detail was missed. The outdoor shower was cold but a much appreciated treat after the morning. Once we were cleaned up all of the supplies were ready for us to make a fire and enjoy the view over a meal, and finally to retreat back to the cabin where the view was still the highlight through the many windows. We loved our stay and will definitely not hesitate to visit again.

The Owl's Nest was amazing. The views were spectacular!!! Joseph definitely put his heart and soul into building the cabin and creating a wonderful romantic space to either relax or go hiking. He also offers sawmilling sessions but we didn't have enough time there. It was so quiet and serene. Our dog absolutely loved the space, she got to roam free and off leash. We got to see an owl. We heard a moose but never saw it probably because of our dog. The whole cabin is hand built, I was just amazed at the workmanship that went into this whole place. Everything was well thought out. You don't need to come with anything, he has everything there for you. We will definitely be going back, and we will be recommending Owl's Nest to whomever wants to just get away from the day to day life and de-stress.

Denise’s campsite is a true gem! Everything about the experience was too notch. The site was very clean and prepared when we got there. In fact, it’s so well-done that you quickly forget the site is at the back of someone’s property. The cabin was perfect. Large enough for the four of us to hang when it rained and just chill. The beds were comfortable. We all just brought sleeping bags and used them on the bed. The site itself was great. Plenty of wood, chairs, and cookware. The shower warms up quickly and is just what you need to keep fresh. Highly recommend this spot. It was the perfect spot for our annual guy’s weekend.

Weekend Trip to The Owls Nest @ Pustizzi Fruit Farm
My girlfriend and I loved staying in the Owl’s Nest. It comes with everything you need while still being remote. This is a massively underrated spot, it has running well water, an open air shower, septic toilet, and a sink. The grill and cooktop help tremendously as well. Joe stocks you with plates, pots, pans, and glasses. You’re 15 mins from Concord and 35-40 from Laconia so you’re able to spend your day on the town but come back to this awesome site. The view is stunning and we loved seeing all of wildlife and wild flowers. The cell service was perfect, but remember to bring a portable charger. Thank you Joe!

My boyfriend and I had the best time at the owls nest. The view is unmatched and the cabin has everything you need to be comfortable. Joe the host is quick to respond and happy to help with anything you may need. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

What a lovely site! The cabin is beautifully set up and offers many amenities we hadn't been expecting (pillows, bug spray, matches, dry kindling, etc.). The inflatable raft pictured also lives on-site. There are two full-size beds plus cots.
Drive all the way down to the campsite. It's a dirt road but easily navigable, even by our beat-up old Prius.
For those curious about the river: we were there in a dry season where the water level was even with the bottom step of the stairs (which are pretty steep, almost more like a ladder). The deepest the water got was mid-chest on my 5'9" frame, and there were plenty of shallower spots. The bottom is mostly a very soft sand. It was cool and refreshing but not cold. Current was strong enough to be noticeable--my 8-year-old could only sort of swim against it--but it felt very safe. The widest the river got was maybe 40 feet across. Very buggy but otherwise delightful. I can only imagine how relaxing it would be to go without children.

Weekend Trip to Red Maple Farm Riverside Cabin
What a gem of a site! So thoughtfully put together with a great blend of camping feel with great amenities, including a high quality indoor space, a screened in pop-up with table, great quality outhouse, outdoor shower and sink, etc. We were stocked with wood, bug torches, a great propane grill (bring your camping pans!) and even a great two-person inflatable floatie for the water. The privacy was awesome, though Denise was just a quick text away. The nearby town is precious, with a great coffee shop and breakfast/lunch joint.

This is an excellent site with many nice amenities. We enjoyed fishing and swimming in the river, sitting by a campfire and a few nice nature walks just a short drive down the road.
The Cabin is appointed very nicely with comfortable beds and kept the bugs at bay. Denise was wonderful and very responsive, thank you again!

P.S. there is literal Owl's nest somewhere next to the hut. Place is fascinating
