We are third generation Randalls to own this 100 acre farm. We love the property and we are creating an event venue space. On the farmhouse side we have an original 1800s barn. We are building a large pavilion for events. Behind this area there is a rolling hill which overlooks Dixmont mountains. Across the road, is a large, flat field with small farm pond with tree swing, rustic arbor and historic farm equipment. We are just a few miles off I-95 both north and south bound. The farm is just a few miles away from Plymouth Pond, Etna Pond and just about 10 miles away from Newport with ATV trails, Sebasticook Lake and main direction to enter the lakes/Appalachian Mountain region. Stay to visit nature or stay for easy access to the Bangor Waterfront, Cross Insurance Center or the Children's Discovery Museum.

This is a huge level gravel pad up a long dirt driveway. Travel down a dirt road about 1 mile to find your oasis in nature.
4 wheel drive is not required but necessary if you bring an RV (please use 4 wheel drive when going up the driveway if you’re towing to avoid creating ruts in the drive way. A car will make it down the dirt road and up the semi-steep drive way. PLEASE DRIVE SLOW to respect the road and preserve the undercarriage of your car.
Please bring everything you need for a great stay and take everything with you when you depart. The pad will accommodate multiple tents, a small to medium sized RV and 4-5 cars.
There are no onsite amenities. Please bring your water and plan to take your trash with you. The area is lush and green and the stars are bright at night.
Any fallen trees are yours to use for firewood. You can also take any small branches from the brush piles. We just ask that you do not cut down any other trees on the property.
You have 13 acres all to yourself. There are a few short trails that lead to the rear of the property but they are very short and not maintained paths.
Guests interactions:
You are on your own! We will observe the property after your checkout. Please take everything with you and do not burn trash in the fire ring.
There are nearby ATV trails. If you bring ATVs, kindly ask that you drive them carefully on our gravel pad, driveway, and dirt road (drive slow, no donuts please :))
Dogs are welcome! Bring your friends. Take your trash. Please respect our nature and pack it out if you pack it in. That includes anything you may or may not do in the woods. Do not leave tissue paper or piles of #2 on the paths. Use a bag, pack it out.
We do not provide anything besides the space to pop a tent. Bring a hand saw to cut wood!

We set up on a gorgeous open field with nearby walks on both sides of the road. Candy welcomed us (even though we were not in the area normally reserved for Hip Campers) and graciously allowed us to stay where we were. She also invited us to a musical event being held for friends. Candy was a friendly and gracious host.

Very nice stay! Tim met us in town to guide us out to the camp, which was a good idea. His directions are spot on, but it is not a straightforward find. But well worth it. We were in a VW van, no problem with the roads. It's a great spot. If you are in that area stay at loon call camp! We heard lions and had very nice private stay. Even though it was a rainy night, the site was not mushy. Tidy and well run. Thank you for the stay, it was a great stop over for us on the way to Baxter.

This spot far exceeded our expectations! Tim and Heidi were incredibly helpful in answering our questions ahead of time, met us at the site when we arrived, and even let us use their charcoal grill since there was a fire ban during the time we were there.
By far our favorite part was the privacy and peacefulness. We stayed there for two nights and other than seeing one boat pass in the distance, we did not see or hear another soul the entire time. Our kids were free to play and explore the land without us worrying about keeping them quiet.
I ABSOLUTELY recommend this spot and we are already planning our trip back for next year!

13 Acres/Off Grid/Branch Lake is the perfect spot for anyone seeking true solitude. We loved how incredibly private the campsite was, feeling completely removed from all other people. The site offers a great balance of shade and sun throughout the day, which was perfect for staying cool while also getting some use out of our solar gear.
As the description says, there are no hookups, and that's exactly what we wanted—a quiet, peaceful place in the forest. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to Branch Lake and lots of hiking trails. It's also conveniently close to Ellsworth.
The pin was past the entrance, but the host's directions and description of the entrance were clear and easy to follow. We also found that AT&T cell service worked on-site, though it wasn't super strong.
If you're looking to truly get away from it all and enjoy a secluded, off-grid experience, we highly recommend this spot.

This spot is everything you could want from Hipcamp!! It’s so private, right on a quiet lake, there’s a porta-potty on site and there’s a bin for trash. We will for sure be back, our kids had the best time! During our 2 night stay our kids were so entertained exploring the woods and the lake, they were never bored. We loved our stay at the Loon Call Camp!
Tim and his wife met us in town and showed us the route to get there. The camp sits right on the water and the loons literally were right out front the camp. We could hear them in the morning and evening. There was a comorant perched on one of the rocks as well at one point. Fishing was good- we caught a total of 4-5 fish during our stay. The area was super clean and maintained. Our dog loved being able to roam free and play with his ball in the water. There are solar powered string lights right past the fire pit and solar lights in the ground skirting the camp which are all super helpful. Buckets provided for the fire pit to be able to safely extinguish. There are super cute lobster trap benches that you can sit on near the fire or easily be moved to use your own chairs. We put our kayaks in very easily to the water by the dock and drifted around the cove. Town is only about a 15 minute drive in case you forget anything (like an air mattress pump). It was a very quiet and secluded area to camp. We were able to easily fit multiple popup canopies and our camper in the spot.
All in all it was such a good stay and we will be back!
