Tent sites are situated right on the banks of the Fish River, providing you with direct access to the water or you can choose a site in the campground with water and electricity! St John River Front Tenting

Very private tenting site directly on the St John rivers shore. Lots of wildlife, serenity and privacy. Great fishing spot especially for bass and muskie. Start your day walking on riverside trail, then maybe a kayak journey on the water, and take off for the day on the hundreds of ATV trails! And end under the star as you sit by the open fire listening to the peepers.

Refuge Ranch

This is a beautiful  55 acre property with walking and 4 wheeling trails connecting directly  to the I 85 international trail. 

 We offer fresh clean  drinking water in the barn from a deep well spicket. Picnic in the apple orchard looking at a spectacular view of the rolling hills of the St. John Valley.  This property is only 2 miles to the town of Fort Kent and 3 miles to the Canadian boarder. This is a wonderful spot for a nature enthusiast because the property serves as a natural habitat for wildlife like rabbits, deer, moose, and many varieties of birds.

Aroostook County Serenity Hill

Private Seasonal Lot.  Water, electric and septic on site.  ATV trails very close by.  Fishing close by.  No Bathroom/shower facilities.  Hiking within 10 miles.  Shopping, Restaurants, Gas within 5 to 10 miles.  Campfires within Fire Danger restrictions for the day.

Kanya's Place

Welcome to Kanya’s Place.

Located in the town of Smyrna in Northern Maine. We are in the heart of Amish country with many Amish stores close by as well as other local businesses. There is plenty to do in this area, we have two golf courses close by. Numerous Club ATV Trails, fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, hiking and more. The north entrance of Baxter State Park is about an hour away and you can be on the pristine Maine seacoast in about 3 hours.

Our private RV site is a 50 Amp full hookup including sewer. Our grounds are maintained and we normally cut the grass once a week. We provide a picnic table and a fire pit. Fire wood can be purchased on site. We will be testing our water later this year…until the results come back we state the water is ‘NONPOTABLE”

There is a pet exercise area provided which is at least 75ft from dwellings and a large open field that is closely mowed if you wish to play fetch with your pet. Directly across the road from the RV site is the upper Bison (Buffalo) field. On site there is also a nail salon that specialize in Pedi, Mani and Thai Nail Art. Book early as her appointment book stays full particularly during the summer months. 

ATV & SXS. We are within a couple miles of the Major trail heads. Smyrna Town Office is approximately 2 miles away if you need to register your machines

Hunting, Fishing, ATV and Boating Licenses/Registration can be obtained at the Smyrna Town Office.

Riverbend Cabin and Sauna

David purchased the property from his parents and built the log cabin, sauna and privy with good friends who also constructed the Rope Bridge.&nbsp;Linda came along in 2000 and moved in with her dog. David was just finishing up a bedroom addition to the cabin, just in time!&nbsp;We got married on the property in 2002. Our family gathers together a lot throughout the summers and we have a ski commute to our vehicles during the winter. We love to share our cabin with those of like mind. It's truly a sweet spot!Learn more about this land:Our cabin in the woods offers you a sweet getaway. Think of it as Luxury Camping. No running water but fresh water is provided. Privy on premises. Gas stove. Wood stove. No refrigeration (coolers & ice works!). Grill. Fire pit. Basic kitchen items. Wood-fired sauna. Totally off grid. Located on the river.The cabin is suited for short term stays, though someone with a good comfort level of being in nature and off grid could enjoy a longer stay. Life slows down in our neck of the woods.

The cabin sits right next to the river on a bluff. It's a sweet, meandering river with a great swimming hole.

Laughing Pig Farm

Laughing Pig farm is a small family homestead. We grow as much of our own food as possible while doing our best to be good land stewards. Animals present: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and geese. We are part of a Scottish colony established in 1873. The property is surrounded by thousands of acres of wilderness to explore and relax in. Mountain bike and ski trails within a few kilometers. Bikes and skis available on site.
