Gravel driveway leads up to both spots. We do try to keep it maintained, but frequently rain causes ruts faster than we can fill. It should not impede drivability, but use caution and feel free to ask if you have any concerns. #1 improvement planned is paving driveway. You may also experience some vehicle noise from roadway. Typically, as we are on a back road, it is fairly quiet but some drivers may be louder than others and some evenings see more traffic.
Level gravel area for RV parking, second plateau available for multiple tent sites. Campfires in designated area.
Deer, wild turkeys, opossums, crows and raccoons are plentiful and often wander through. Less common are foxes and bald eagles that make their home at Doe Run Lake nearby.
Main home on property but only close enough for assistance, not interference.
Property is close to Creation Museum and the Ark. 10 minutes from restaurants and expressway but feels like a retreat. Ask about special discounts if visiting these attractions.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay. Everything was so well thought out, from the adorable interior decor to the sitting area outside the camper which we made great use out of. The camper seats conveniently convert into a bed and was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The views are breathtaking and perfect for enjoying by the fire pit outside. Natalie was super attentive and came to our rescue anytime we needed anything. We were sure to stop by the Cookie Jukebox for a sweet delicious treat. We will surely be back next time we stop by Winchester.

The Air Stream was clean, nice decor, and had all the essentials plus a/c and good WiFi!
There was privacy from the other camping camper guests and the environment was peaceful.
The owner was kind and responsive.
It was super convenient tp nearby places of interest and the sweetest, dogs, pigs and chickens who came to visit us each day made it our chosen place to stay when we visit friends in the area.

So fun! We stayed the weekend here and didn’t leave after arriving. There’s a ton to do, hiking, an awesome creek, games, bon fire, TV, and a cute “panty” in the barn with glamping goods. The cabin also had a well equip kitchen with a mini fridge. Not to mention the sweet bucket shower with HOT water! Such a game changer. The hosts were so nice and helpful too!

This was a great place to camp with our six and a half year old! We can’t normally get him to hike very far but there were so many fun swings and slides along the way that he was really engaged and ended up doing almost 4miles with us!
The new patio on the hickory tree house was a perfect family gathering spot for uno and charades. Our best family vacation yet.
Be sure to pack some easy on/off shoes with good tread! It can be a little slick between the cabin and outhouse - crocs won’t cut it if it’s wet out.

The driveway definitely added to the adventure—my little Toyota handled it just fine! We saw deer and turkeys and enjoyed a beautiful view the whole time. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a perfect, relaxing weekend getaway.
The hosts were very accommodating with our late-night check-in and responded quickly to any questions. It was just a short walk to the pond, where our little Yorkie had a blast swimming—and even helped us catch a few fish, including a bass!
Highly recommend this spot—we’ll definitely be back.

We used this spot as a home base for our yearly hunting trip. It was perfect for what we needed. Everyone on the farm was friendly and welcoming! You’ll get to know the horses and cats as they wander around the farm and sometimes come up to you to say hello. The cabin was a great common area and place to wind down after a long day of being out in the woods.
