Staying at Sticky Wicket Farms was a great experience in no small part due to the wonderful host Leslie. We opted for the quiche and cinammon rolls and both were homemade, hot and delicious. Having full hook-ups was very convenient. We really enjoyed walking the drive and seeing the animals. Thank you, Leslie!!

This was a very cute and cozy cabin on a private lot. Its has a great dock to sit, drink coffee, and read a book. The fire pit has a grate which was very convenient. The porch was idyllic and probably my favorite spot on the property. There were lots of birds and butterflies to watch. We had a great time.

Great place to set up camp. I stayed for several nights and had a peaceful experience. Leslie is an absolutely wonderful person, and such a hard worker!! We loved staying at the rushing river rv site. Very clean, very spacious, kind hosts. Even though it isn’t secluded, it still felt private. The field and sunsets were beautiful, it was a great place to visit the red river gorge area from. Merle(?) the dog is definitely a character!

This cabin and property is absolutely beautiful 😍. So peaceful and serene and QUIET! Hosts thought of absolutely everything. Early morning canoeing and being right up in the face of nature was so incredible. That upper back porch was everything! Spent so much time there just listening to nature sounds and watching the hummingbirds. Hosts were very kind and attentive when needed. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed staying at Camp Middle Fork. It was peaceful and relaxing. Bart was super nice and met us upon arrival to show us around. I messaged to ask questions before we booked and he was very quick to respond. We asked for the furthest spot and he made sure there was fire wood already by the pit. There was some cut and stacked that we were able to grab anytime as well. The outhouse was clean and smelled of cedar. We stayed mostly at our site but the outdoor kitchen wasn’t far if we needed it.

Bart and his family have a nice set up in the hills of Irvine. Me and my kids enjoyed hiking the trails and walking through the creek. It was a peaceful get away. As other reviewers mention, there’s poison ivy around the trails as there is in much of Kentucky, so just be mindful of where you walk.

Being near the water is lovely, especially at twilight. You can see lots of critters, especially birds: herons, hummingbirds, buntings, etc. The amenities were really nice. A pretty luxurious getaway!
