We absolutely fell in love the moment we pulled in. Can we just live here too?!? So peaceful, quiet, and serene. The 2 ponds were well stocked with bass, crappie, brim, & catfish. Very stunning sunsets too. We were greeted by 4 of the sweetest & friendliest dogs and 3 cats. Our dogs felt right at home. Amber and her husband were so sweet and made us feel very comfy ... kinda like long lost friends. Now we've made new life long friends. Will we go back... 1000% yes. This hidden gem checked all of our boxes. Wonderful for those who just want to get away. Thank you for allowing us to stay... 4 nights just isn't enough.

Weekend Trip to Stoneybrooke

Julia and John's place is a neat find. The creek and the pond were nice to spend time beside. If you're boondocking the space is perfect. If you're wanting to use the electrical be sure to have a very long cord , at least 50 feet. We couldn't enjoy the space totally because we had to park up near the electric hook up because our cord was only 25 feet. We have already discussed coming back to this location again because of the tranquillity. We will just need to get a longer cord for instances such as this.

Its a very sandy area so it was nice to see rubber mats at each site. I had a question before we were to arrive and sent a message and Tessa responded quickly. It was very quiet in the evenings and we loved that its a dog friendly campground.

My favorite was sitting next to the fire looking out of an open field lighting up with thousands of fireflies. It was pretty magical. The owls offered a nice evening symphony as well! We loved our stay at Jennys land. Hooking up the camper was easy and there was an extra water hose just in case yours isnt long enough. It was quiet and peaceful with lots of things to explore in the area Tick season is in full swing so dont forget your repellent.

Although private, surrounded by trees, it is a very convenient location on hwy 68, 3 miles East of Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. There is a 50 amp outlet available near the gravel pad. We have a 30’ cord available. Water is available. This is a single private site. No other campers at this location. We have an antique store 125’ away that is open to the public once per month and hosts occasional creative classes. The store cannot be seen from the camp site so you will enjoy complete privacy. Also note there is a paved bike trail across the highway so easy access for bicyclists. The pond is stocked with bass and blue gill for a photo op and release. If you would like a private shopping experience at Stoneybrooke, it can be arranged!

Every morning you will wake up listening to birds sing and evenings are frog symphony time. You may also have an unexpected visitor - a squirrel likes to have her favorite breakfast (pig nuts) on the porch. The camper has a comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom, living room with sofa bed and dining table, full kitchen, bathroom and two double bunk beds. You may spend most of your time on the large porch which is attached to the camper. It has a dining and coffee table with chairs. Most of the time, the camper is decorated with seasonal plants. We offer firewood, ice and country fresh eggs for additional charge. Close to where the camper is located, you can find a picnic area and pavilion with a propane grill, fire ring and plenty of firewood. The swimming pool is open on sunny days from Memorial weekend until Labor Day. Fisherman can find a fish cleaning station and beautiful pond with a lot of fish and turtles. Camper is not even 3/4 mile from the lake. Restaurants, a gas station, Dollar general, Old Country store with delicious ice cream, coffee, homemade jars of jams and more are within one mile driving distance. The Land Between the Lakes offers an Elk and Bison Prairie, many hiking and biking trails, fishing, boat ramps, Turkey Bay off road vehicle trails and more. Enjoy the outdoors, relax and recharge. Take a break from technology, we currently don't offer TV or Wi-Fi. Games are available per request, no additional charge.
