Patti was an amazing host! We showed up at night and she still showed us to our spot and gave us the best spot she had for rainy weather. The dogs were also so sweet and guarded us all night and gave us company. She also offered us eggs which is so sweet! We had a great time here :)

My partner and I made a last minute decision to go camping when our schedules changed. Patti was extremely friendly and communicative immediately when we made our reservation. I really enjoyed hearing from her. The campsite is not very far from Nashville and was a perfect getaway. The campsite has three guard dogs that are SUPER sweet. They were very playful with our 1 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd (who still thinks he’s, like, a 6 month old). We also felt very happy that these dogs were guarding us during the night. The road is somewhat close to the campsite but it didn’t have heavy traffic. This site was perfect for the three of us looking at a short, impromptu night away from home! The creek and birds were lovely to wake up to and we came home the next day cheerful and relaxed. We were at Site 2, but Site 3 also seemed great for a larger group.

Our 3 crazy kids had a blast exploring the creek & running around the large field, while our dog enjoyed making friends with several of the sweet farm dogs. Weekend Trip to Barren River Magic
The peace pipe is a campers refuge! I loved the lower level sitting area, brought along flowers and a tablecloth and it made for a beautiful meditation/yoga sanctuary. The upstairs sleeping loft was a reprieve from the heat and had the best views of the land! Mostly, we spent our free time star gazing and strolling the river. It was an amazing getaway and we can't wait to come back!

Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Absolutely beautiful. Not too far from town if you forgot anything. But what may have been the best part was they had three dogs that just watched over us and our campsite. I felt extremely safe which is not the norm for me. Plus the host, Patty, one of the nicest women I have met on my travels. Definitely will come back.

We had a great time camping! We met Patti at her house and she gave us some eggs and took us down to the site. We stayed at Site 2 which is beautiful and covered by trees. Site 3 is also beautiful and more open with less trees. Patti's dogs are so sweet and stayed with us most of the time. My son loved them. We would definitely camp there again.

Site 2 was a nice shady spot by the creek. I was able to park my car under the trees. The creek and the shade were lovely, as was the open field that offered an amazing view of lightening storms off in the distance (and I imagine great stargazing when it’s not overcast). The three livestock guardian dogs came in and checked on me often, and I think one even stayed in my camp all night. Great spot, would book again.

We loved staying at Kozy Haven Cabins!! It’s cute, quaint, clean, and so comfortable🙌🏻🙌🏻! We stayed in Cabin 5 and when I say it was such an unexpected surprise how nice it was! We had an excellent time tent camping at this site! Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful getaway! Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by 3 of the nicest dogs we’ve ever met. They gave us great company during the day and helped us feel safe at night! Patti was kind enough to bring us some farm fresh eggs which we were very thankful for!
