The yard has a fence around 3 sides. Do not go beyond the fenced area as farm crops are growing. Owners have a private fenced-in back yard separate from the common areas.
Other things to note:
We do not allow pets, parties, illegal activities, or fireworks.
Please request the use of the Fire Pit as it depends on wind conditions with crops growing in the fields.
We have a charcoal grill available for guest use. You must bring your own charcoal, lighting fluid, and matches. Please let us know if you use the grill so we can clean it out after the charcoal cools.
* For the safety and protection of all our guests, we have completely cleaned and permanently sanitized the entire bungalow with LastGerm 2-Step products. Come sit in the BIG Bear Wallow Chair! Great focal point for your pictures.
Surrounded by farmland, crops, and farm animals (cattle, horses, donkeys, mules) in neighboring fields. You may see deer, and wild turkeys, hear a coyote, spot a bear or bobcat.
We do not have any pets. Occasionally, a neighboring cat or dog may wander by. We are not responsible for the actions of any animals that may wander onto the property.
Guest access
The yard has a fence around 3 sides. Do not go beyond the fenced area as farm crops are growing. Owners have a private fenced-in back yard separate from the common areas.
Other things to note:
We do not allow pets, parties, illegal activities, or fireworks.
Please request the use of the Fire Pit as it depends on wind conditions with crops growing in the fields.
We have a charcoal grill available for guest use. You must bring your own charcoal, lighting fluid, and matches. Please let us know if you use the grill so we can clean it out after the charcoal cools.
* For the safety and protection of all our guests, we have completely cleaned and permanently sanitized the entire bungalow with LastGerm 2-Step products. This is a non-chemical permanent application providing a mechanical process to CONTINUOUSLY KILL Germs, Bacteria, Viruses, (including Coronavirus), staph, MRSA, Molds, and Mildew.

Weekend Trip to Barren River Magic
The peace pipe is a campers refuge! I loved the lower level sitting area, brought along flowers and a tablecloth and it made for a beautiful meditation/yoga sanctuary. The upstairs sleeping loft was a reprieve from the heat and had the best views of the land! Mostly, we spent our free time star gazing and strolling the river. It was an amazing getaway and we can't wait to come back!

The Cedar Ridge Cabin was impeccably clean and had the coolest off-grid gadgets! I maintained a similar cabin for several years and know how much work goes into such a spot. The craftsmanship and attention to detail at this cabin was inspiring to say the least! My son and I enjoyed the adventure hike down to the river and watching the nighttime critters in the field. I can not say how impressed I was with this cozy little cabin. There was everything that I could have needed. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. I loved all the small things like plenty of lights above, with additional lamps on the tables, towels, toiletries like shampoo and stuff, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc. The beds were so soft because they were memory foam and included sheets, pillow and comforter. I had brought my own bedding so theirs was not needed. AC was nice and cold, hot water was hot! The management was so nice and responsive also. Also loved how close we were to everything. I will 100% be staying at this little get away on my next trip. I highly recommend you staying here.

We loved staying in Danny’s cabin! Since we usually camp, this was the perfect mix of roughing it and glamping while still feeling like we were one with nature. Nothing was better than sitting on the porch and watching all the fireflies come out. Bring plenty of bug spray for the hike down to the river because there were lots of ticks.

We spent 2 nights over Thanksgiving since our house is undergoing renovations. It was exactly what we needed. Joseph was welcoming and attentive to our needs and made sure we knew he was just a phone call away.
We enjoyed the quiet and coziness of this beautiful cabin (#2) and the kitchen was equipped well enough for us to fix our Thanksgiving dinner. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable and warm through the cold nights. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
