Excellent spot, with great sites. Would recommend to RVs, tents campers, horse riders, and anyone who enjoys nature. And I can't forget to mention the clean and modern bathroom/showers. With more expansion underway, I can't wait to go back!

This was such a great place to camp. Fresh and clean. The drives were well manicured and the site was quiet and pleasant. The fire pit was well constructed and the flowing water made for such a nice sound while resting. Communication with the crew was excellent and they were very kind and friendly. I will be back there again in the future with friends.

Bridgett was sooo kind! This place was absolutely beautiful and worth the drive out there! I'm so glad I booked this property, plus they were so accommodating for what I needed. One of the nights, the sky was absolutely stunning with stars and I woke up to a gorgeous sunrise! Highly recommend coming here! I also got to take a peek at the lake house, and that is gorgeous too! You can go wrong by booking here! I definitely plan to come back with friends!!🥰🥰

Gavin is an excellent host! Can’t express how highly I recommend staying at any of these sites. All three are great. I was able to take a peek at all 3 since no one but me was there. Unfortunately I didn’t get in until late due to traffic, but still enjoyed the set up a lot. Very peaceful and private and the firewood provided was perfect even with it being wet out. The hill coming back out was a little steep so if you plan on bringing a rig, make sure you have 4WD. Ground was solid though even with all the rain. 10/10 Will definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to The Harrican Lakehouse
Such a quaint and lovely place. We were caught up in a rainstorm there, but the rain pattering on the tin rooftop sounded so nice. Got up early to watch the non-sunrise (too many clouds). From about 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM there was total silence until a Carolina wren started calling. Watched salamanders swimming in the turquoise colored water. Our 18 month old dog loved the freedom and took laps around the pond. It was a heartwarming time.

1 night at The Harrican Lakehouse
Very peaceful! Expect to disconnect! Limited cell service and no TV. Access to multiple trails within the Daniel Boone National Park nearby. We enjoyed an amazing sunrise and had the benefit of drinking our coffee on the wrap around porch. If you are looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend Habanero Mexican Grill in London. Large fire pit.

The lakehouse was a perfect quiet Christmas getaway for me and my two little dogs. It feels private but not secluded, and there’s all the basics you need with no fussiness, and it’s so cute. Bridgett was sooo kind and even brought over a plate of Christmas dinner. Even in winter, this spot is so pretty and serene. Super cozy. Would come back.

Weekend Trip to The Harrican Lakehouse
Our 10th anniversary and probably our last trip w our 13yr old dog. This trip was just as much for her as it was for us. Weather was surprisingly warm for the 1st of Nov which allowed our old lady & her 2 pup siblings to swim in the spring fed pond. There was so much room to be free w/o the worry of neighbors. The house is just right w amenities we don't usually have as rooftop tent campers. There's a full kitchen w basic essentials & living room space to relax and read. The loft has plenty of floor space w the twin beds that allowed us to put both our dog pens up. Nice size queen bed in main bedroom w shower, toilet, and sink. The lakehouse has a simple modern rustic feel with bits and pieces that make it cozy and welcoming for any personality. Being able to play fence and hike an easy trail to the river w our pups and relaxing on the wrap around porch were highlights for us. Bridget was so welcoming and easy to communicate with. Definitely a star hostess. We are already planning our next trip here.

What a wonderful place to retreat into nature!!! It was magical getting to drum on the land around the fire with our boys and with all of the creatures, flora, fauna and spirits present now and throughout time!! Fishing, boating, the cabin were all wonderful! Beds were super comfy as well! Thank you for sharing the gift of this land!
