You are welcome to walk the farm and see the animals, please do not feed the animals or enter their stalls or pens without permission and the presence of our staff.
Staff does live on the farm, we do lock gates at night, you can have access to come and go at any time. If you need gates unlocked, we are just a phone call away.

Learn more about this land:Come stay for a night at Turner's Quarter in our quiet country neighborhood. Enjoy access to a large fire pit, free firewood, and a large area for your camping activities. Take in a view of the bright night sky you just cant get in the city. Only 1 minute off the highway and only a quick walk to the main house in case of an urgent need. Perfect spot to stay a night if you're traveling across the state and don't want to stay at a busy campground. There are other houses nearby, but only home you can really see is ours from the site. We are careful to ensure our camper's privacy during their stay!

Come and spend some time at a direct-to-consumer dairy farm. Our cows are called Dutch Belted. They are often referred to as Oreo cows. Stay on the farm where the milk is produced, processed, and sold. The farm store is a short distance away and sells a large variety of farm foods.
The farm consists of about 200 acres of pasture and creek bottom. The owner, Loyd, has lived on the farm all his life.
We are right beside what used to be a Navy base... yeah in Kansas.:) The runway still gets used for gliders. So you might see a glider being pulled up while you are here.

My great-grandfather purchased this land in 1921 and since then, my family has been farming the best way that we knew how. For the last 30 years, that has meant a divergence from traditional farming practices to focus on regenerative farming-- farming that focuses on enriching the health of the soil and the animals instead of depleting it.On our farm, we raise beef, lamb, pigs and chickens and they all live out on pasture. In our farm store we sell meat, eggs, and raw, all-grass dairy products like milk, butter, cheese, kefir, and yogurt. Our customers drive from all parts of central Kansas to shop at Jako Farm because our food is different than food in the grocery store. We call it JakoPure food.Not only do we share our life-giving, gut-restoring food with others, but we want to share the experience of our farm, too. That's why we've started hosting guests on hipcamp so that you can truly experience what's special about our farm. Each location provides a unique perspective on our farm, and you'll engage a different part of our story at each place. Completely full hookups for a single site! The site is secluded but on the outskirts of a working farm with auditory and visual access to a lot (most) of the farm animals. Picnic table and firepit grill provided. For sewer hookup, you need at least 25 feet of hose to reach access. Larger/taller rigs might have tree limb issues. Technically there are 2 premium ways to use the site; both back in. You could pull in with small rigs. Take an outdoor mat: you will need it for the coarse sand used specifically for the well lit site. The fireflies were so numerous and sunset was incredible. Host is very responsive on app and their fresh eggs - well we bought 5 dozen… We will be back! Love Kona the sweetest farm dog ever!

The land is loved. The animals are happy and healthy. The family is wonderful. The foods they produce are beautiful and delicious. This is one of the best examples of a thriving family farm that I have seen while traveling through the US. It was a perfect place to stay.

I often travel from Georgia to Utah, either RV or tent. I always stay on Daniel's land. Site has water, electric, picnic table and fire pit.
Private, quiet, beautiful scenery and i feel safe.
Farm store shower is an added gem. I never leave without purchasing some of their fine farm store products. I especially enjoy seeing the wildlife as I walk the farm roads through the pastures. For me it checks all the boxes, I will be back.

What a hidden GEM! We were needing a place to stay the same night, I found Laura's land and booked it not really knowing what to expect...but it was only for a night while passing through and boy oh boy were we amazed! When we pulled on to the property and entered through the beautiful gates, then drove slowly down the lane toward the camping are...we were taken aback by the quiet beauty! So well maintained and not a soul around! Lightning bugs flashed while we set up camp and coyotes howled too

Ken and Judy were so nice! There was a bad storm coming our way, so Ken let us set up under the shelter of his barn.
We also bought some fresh milk, cheese and honey from their store!
We really enjoyed sitting out at night watching the moon rise and the lightning out in the distance.

Only there for one night but it was delightful. I ate my dinner at the picnic table watching the horses graze. The toilet was easy to access and I grabbed a tea from the vending machine for the road. Cheryl was very kind and clear in her instructions. The other staff I passed by were all very friendly too.

The site was level for my van & the electricity was easily accessible. Bathroom was nice. But the highlight was, the sweet animals! I appreciated the tour so much and meeting all the cute creatures.
I don't have much experience being around horses and theirs were so gentle 🥹💖 really loved meeting the turkey, cows, goats & the guardian dogs as well. Thanks for a lovely, easeful stay!

My husband and I loved the farm! We enjoyed petting the goats and exploring the disc golf course. We loved being able to fish the pond right next to our campsite. The hosts were very nice and we can’t wait to come back!! Was the highlight of our 2 week camping trip, highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this place. We rented the camper for my wife and 2 daughters and it was perfect. All of us had a great time and will be back another time. It felt very safe for our two kids to run around and play on the playground and fish and explore. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. If you are thinking about coming out here, do it!

I was looking for an easy spot to take my 5-year-old daughter for her first camping trip, somewhere that felt special but also easy. Instead of the usual state park route, we decided to give The Farm at Quail Valley a try. I was expecting a nice little farm with a few tent spots and some fishing ponds, but what we actually pulled into was a total hidden gem.
This property is easily some of the prettiest land I’ve seen in Kansas. The grounds are so well-kept with the rolling hills and beautiful trees, it felt more like staying in a botanical garden than on a farm.
The Disc Golf course was also a pretty big surprise. I knew there was one on-site and brought my discs along, but I wasn't expecting a course that was ranked #58 in the world in 2022. It’s the real deal, both in terms of technical difficulty and the terrain. I’m already planning a return trip just so I can find the time to play the full course.
To top it all off, the hosts were incredible, so kind and very accommodating. If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway that’s still accessible for kids, this is it.

Beautiful property! We enjoyed the quiet nature of the land. Plenty of open skies for stargazing! The host was very friendly and helpful to get us out of the heavy winds! The farm to table store is fantastic and everything we’ve tried so far has been far superior to the grocery store. We will be returning!
