You won't believe you are still in Kansas! C2T Ranch is a working regenerative cattle ranch, with over 4 miles of Saline River running through it. Amazing 150' tall limestone cliffs rise above river and several spring fed creeks feed into the river. There is hiking galore in the canyons or on the cliffs, fishing in the rivers, or bird watching on the native prairie above the cliffs. Fossil hunters can find a variety of fossilized shells, as well as native septarian and calcite for the rockhounds.
Our picturesque, secluded campground has primitive and powered campsites, plus several glamping tent, all dispersed along an amazing horseshoe bend of the Saline River, each with direct river access. We're only a 20 minute drive north of Hays, Kansas and I-70, come visit us today!

The Hughes Holler camp site is located in the mix grassed prairie of central Kansas. The site was once a homestead of some of the early pioneers of the area. While none of the remnants of the former farmstead remain. The the tranquility of sitting at a campfire on the banks of the pond can let ones mind wonder about what life would have been like living there in days gone by.
The site includes a spring fed pond with abundant fishing, predominately white bass. Guests are allowed to keep any fish they wish to eat on site. But please release any others back into the pond. There is a wooded area which provides nice shade for an area to relax from the Kansas summer sun and wind. Campers can also enjoy a camp fire either pond side of underneath the trees.
Sleeping accommodations are in a deluxe water proof tent. There are 2 queen air mattress which will comfortably sleep 4 people.
There is also a composting toilet on site.
Glamping Hosts provide some hot drink mixes, a coffee perculator, pot for boiling water, or making soup, a cooking grate for the fire, some hygiene products. Solar shower.
We are located 2 miles from the Kanopolis Lake wildlife and recreation area. Which includes numerous hiking trails at Horse Thief canyon. As well as 7 miles from historic Marquette with its unique downtown shops and activities: distillery, motorcycle museum, soda fountain shop/homemade ice cream, disc golf course, grocery store, bar and grill and liquor store. Also, located just 15 miles from Little Swedon, Lindsborg, KS. Great shopping and museums, art galleries for you enjoyment!

The ranch was a beautiful camping setting. Quiet and peaceful and the scenery is amazing. Our only suggestion would be to improve the roads as we found it a bit rough on our RV due to pot holes.

Our group of 16, plus 3 toddlers and 3 dogs, had an absolutely amazing time at C2T Ranch! We couldn’t have asked for kinder or more welcoming hosts. Chad and Cynthia were responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, making us all feel right at home. (I strongly recommend your get the cinnamon rolls!)
The property is beautiful, and we especially loved having access to the river and exploring the fun trails. Hearing about the history of the ranch and seeing the cattle made the experience even more special. One of our favorite surprises was having two gorgeous horses come visit us nearby!
C2T Ranch was the perfect place for our group to spend time together, enjoy the outdoors, and make wonderful memories. We’re already planning our next trip! We highly recommend this ranch to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming, and memorable getaway. Thank you, Chad and Cynthia, for making our stay so special!

We had another incredible weekend at the ranch. I love our October camping tradition. So peaceful, so beautifully maintained. Our hosts are incredibly kind and responsive. We always start our trip off with the burger basket and it is the best! We did lots of walking during the day and stargazing at night. Can’t wait to go back.

Weekend Trip to Hughes Holler
Had a lovely little getaway with my husband here. We enjoyed the site and even though it was a chilly night we stayed warm in the tent with lots of blankets and enjoyed a camp fire under the stars.

We had camped here the week before but decided to glamp on the return trip, in the 31-degrees fall night. It was so easy to roll up for a good night of rest that was warm enough for all 4 of us + pup in the canvas tent. We woke up to a majestic silver prairie. Once again, a great find. Wonderful camping experience! Will absolutely return for another visit. The host, Chad, was friendly and very helpful. The topography was glorious and the whole Ranch was beautiful. Our spot was level and huge with some Eastern Red Cedars that provided some excellent shade.

The Kansas Sunflower tent is the way to go if you need a bed while you camp! So spacious and comfortable!
It's a bit noisy when it's windy, but that's just camping.
The ranch is beautiful and worth exploring! I waded across the river to try to climb the cliffs, but saw a (super harmless garter) snake and freaked myself out, so I noped back to the tent :)
I loved my stay, and will pay for the ranch tour next time so I can keep my feet up off the ground 🤣

A regenerative ranch in Kansas 30 minutes from I-70? Yes, and beautiful too. We were searching for a place to camp along our route across the country and pleasantly surprised to find this diamond! It’s so peaceful and works perfectly for our camper van. Definitely worth a stay!

Normally we've been regular tent campers, but wanted to make it easier on ourselves since having our youngest. Really enjoyed our stay! The tent was very spacious. We were able to fit a pack n play in there on top of the two provided queen mattresses. Everything you could want outside of food was provided. There's a convenience store nearby that you can grab anything you might have missed. Fishing was great. I don't know that the hosts could have made it any more hospitable!
