Sites are hidden from the road and secluded. However, we do live on the edge of the railway so the train will make an appearance during your stay. Whether it's a spot to crash before and after a day of skiing, taking a road trip, or simply shaking off cabin fever, this is the spot for you. The pond has a dock to sit on as you watch the sunrise. Bring your fishing gear and cast a line into our well-stocked pond. A table, fire rings, wood, and a smoker grill for cooking are provided for your use. Enjoy a day of fishing or strolling the property and finish off a relaxing day by watching the sunset by the fire. Camping is primitive with no shower facilities. A generator is available upon request. We can't wait to see you! Enjoy your stay!!

Great stop as you pass through Kansas City, in the small town of Greenwood, right off 291 Hwy. 4 acre property right in the middle of a safe and quiet neighborhood , close to gas stations, and restaurants. Bakery/coffee shop, smoothie shop and dollar general within walking distance. Has outdoor restroom.

Such a fun weekend campground for our family. The kids loved the farm animals, there were baby goats that the kids were in love with and gave them lots of snuggles. We rented fishing poles and a kayak and paddle boards, and paid 15$ for all the firewood we could burn. The owner and staff were helpful, even bright the firewood and got the fire going for us.
The only downside is that they are right next to a train track, so be prepared for some train horns.

Quiet Open Space was exactly what we needed on our way down to Arkansas! Finding a quiet spot on Melissa’s property was a piece of cake, even in the dark. Her directions were very clear and communication efficient. The bathroom is adorable but not as adorable as her cat Lucy who welcomed us with loud purrs! The chickens were pleasantly talkative in the morning too! Quiet Open Space was a great spot for a good night of sleep!

Very easy to find. I drove back into the property a ways, picked my spot, and as planned, settled in for a very quiet, peaceful evening.
Ely stopped by the next morning while he was taking care of some business. We chatted for a bit. Very friendly. Seems like a good dude. Told him I’m likely to return.

Absolutely amazing site! Steven went above and beyond my expectations. We showed up with 4 kids between the ages of 5 and 12, and he pulled no stops entertaining them, including walking his horse down to our campsite for the kids to pet. Be sure to ask him what his record is with the ax throwing!!!😉😆 we will definitely be returning.

This place is amazing! My best friend and I decided to have a girls weekend and camp out. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. The property was absolutely beautiful! We went towards the end of October and it was still stunning! Tons of animals that are so used to people and dogs that they ignored our dogs thinking they were big and tough. We are already planning on going back next weekend!

A lovely campground! The grounds and the bathrooms were very clean. Had some hiking trails and I enjoyed walking around with the pup. Staff was kind and there is a well-stocked store. It's a little out of the way but that made for a peaceful stay.

The campsites were clean, and land easy to navigate. We loved camping right by the lake, and being able to swim and paddleboard. We enjoyed petting the horses and goats as well! It was a short walk to the restroom from our spot. The train came by often but we also encountered rain while we were there so it was less distracting than the rain!
