Each site is in a wooded, shaded area with a flat area on the ground to place a single large tent. Each site has its own fire ring and a small wooden table. There is wood on the ground you may use for firewood, and ample twigs etc on the ground for kindling (do not cut any trees or branches off trees). There is a covered firewood shed with dry firewood as well. There are maintained trails with river access for kayaks. There are 2 porta potties near the campsites with a handwashing station, that is open year round. There is a single bathroom with flush toilet and sink with running water that is a short walk away (open May-Oct depending on weather) There is an outdoor on-demand hot-water shower at bathroom, with a water hose available as well. On-demand hot water heaters provide hotter water at a low water pressure, and cooler water at full blast. We do provide a large trash bin near the porta potties for trash disposal. DO NOT throw trash into fire pits or burn barrels in the woods. Campsites are a short walk (100-200 feet) away from parking area (you CANNOT drive directly to or park at your campsite). Foster Park is a short bike ride away where you will find greenway trails that run throughout Fort Wayne (ride your bike to downtown!!) Our property backs up to the St Mary's River, bring you kayaks and fishing poles! (We reserve the right to assign you to a different (but equally beautiful) campsite in the case of property maintenance concerns, recent rain or weather conditions etc). The Mirror lake property has been a family farm for over 185 years. There is a family cemetery that dates to 1832. We ended up booking an extra day because it was such a peaceful, beautiful stay. Titus was an amazing host and even refunded me the extra booking and cleaning fee that the site charged because it considered it a separate 1 night stay. It literally hadn't even crossed my mind, and it is such an affordable get away to begin with on top of everything I listed in my previous review that i wouldn't have cared if he kept it.

Beautiful land. My dog loved not having to be leashed jus like when we r at home. I loved walking with my family around the trail..seeing g the cows nx door or the sheep in or fenced in area. Bathrooms were earned n hut too with nice extra touches like blankets, plates, candle, bug killer, ect..already told my other kids n family we could rent the whole place during family gathering or reunion. Very helpful n informative host. Takes really good care of land ect.

Weekend Trip to Fallen Tree

The Tiny House was the perfect glamping experience. It had everything we needed while still feeling like we were truly camping and enjoying nature. The Tiny House was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the area around it felt private and secluded. The clubhouse bathroom was a huge bonus and made the stay even more convenient. Since there's no electricity in the Tiny House, we brought a couple of battery-powered fans, which helped a lot with staying cool during the heat of the day and made sleeping much more comfortable at night. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Tiny House to anyone looking for a comfortable way to enjoy the outdoors without completely roughing it.

We had an amazing time at the Tim’s place. Everything is well thought out, clean, private, and quiet. The ac in the yurt was excellent as it was pretty humid due to some rain in the evening during our stay. Free dry firewood, and an awesome fire pit with a grilling made dinner and breakfast cooking a breeze.

The Moonlight Halo Hut was very cozy and provided a great view of the night sky. I was impressed at how many amenities were provided. There was firewood at each campsite and even towels and soap at the wash stations in case you forgot to bring any. Titus is a very gracious host and his property is a treasure.

Weekend Trip to The Firefly Nest

It was a very lovely property! Very private. There was a bit of highway noise but nothing that stopped our sleep. We didn’t get to do the full trail, since it was a bit messy from the weather-nobody’s fault on that! If you’re more adventurous and have good boots maybe you could do it after a huge week of rain. The mattresses were good, and we slept fine but they are definitely more camping and less glamping mattresses. The bathroom was very nice and clean. If you have an aversion to the taste of well water, be sure to bring your own. And be careful, the hot water is EXTREMELY hot. We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

The camp was very well taken care of. It was clean and had lots of small, extra quality of life features around that made it a comfortable place to stay. My favorites among that list were the cute solar lights hung up in the shepherd hut and the large wooden ship our toddler enjoyed exploring. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks for having us!
