I love tent camping on this property. It’s beautifully cared for. The tent sites are good sized with new clean fire rings and cooking grates. The property is so close the beach ant Warren Dunes and hiking at Warren Woods. Cherisse is a wonderful host.

Our views were great and i liked the location. There is a porta potty if you need it. No tables available, so you'll want to make sure to have table/chairs if you want them. Being by the river, there's lots of mosquitoes, so make sure to bring the bug spray! Overall a good site and pretty much what we expected!

This property was super pretty and well maintained! The pond was really nice and the grass was mowed. There were new fire rings placed around and we chose one close to the pond. Very quiet as we were the only campers there for the one night we stayed. The portapotty was pristinely clean in all aspects and well stocked with a hand washing station and sanitizer. It's just a few miles from Warren Dunes beach and Weko beach and lots of wineries. We will definitely be back.

So I often use Hipcamp when traveling. Weather is for camping for the weekend or staying in touch with nature instead of the hotels in the city. Me and my friends were on our way to work a con and let me tell you, I’m so glad I booked here. The host is very friendly and accommodating. He started our fire for us and let us borrow his flame thrower! The port o potty was very clean and best of it all? Yall gotta meat tuna! 10/10 !!!

Kat provided a beautiful, shaded site next to the river. We had plenty of room for two tents and camp chairs. The canopy is a nice spot to relax and watch the water. We really appreciated the extremely clean port-a-john.

We had a beautiful weekend. Nicole was a great host. The farm fresh eggs were delicious. The float on the river was peaceful and the closest I've ever been to a bald eagle. The nearby Ruth Kern nature preserve offered a quick hike with luscious greenery.

We loved camping here! John had a fire started when we got there and gave us some great recommendations in the area. Campsite 3 had beautiful views and very easy to get to. Everything was well marked and we knew exactly where to go. We travel with two doggos and they loved running in the open land. Would definitely stay here again. The Haven Camping and Outdoor Wedding Venue began in 2022, Our goal is to strive to share the property that God has graciously blessed us with, with the public. The Haven is nestled on 3 acres of beautiful land on the St Joseph River. Our property setting is a hidden gem that opens to the most beautiful natural setting. The land offers a gorgeous view of the river and numerous shady sites nestled underneath a giant array of Oak, Beach and Walnut trees. Here at The Haven, the property has ample space for parking, room for various size camping tents and small pop-up tents small RV's, A dock for fishing, and access for kayaking. Fire pits and grill area for cooking and a complimentary bucket with some goodies to start you off. This setting is perfect for camping in a private nestled nook on the river. We have more than one area on the property to choose from. You can choose any site you would like: The River’s edge, Beach Area (site 1) Small RV and tent site, The River under The Canopy of trees (site 2) small RV and tent site, The Cove by the woods, small camper, and tent (site 4) great views of the river. The Cozy Corner (Site 3) by the woods on the river (this is a secluded corner and very private.) And last but not least our Cozy Camper vintage Trailer that sleeps up to 4 people with all the amenities and can accommodate campers with tents (2) (site 5). Come Stargaze or hangout at the “spot” (dock) comfortably and lounge with views of the water or sit by the campfire at “The Pit.” Every site is first come first serve. Book earlier to get your desired spot! Bring your toys and play in the great outdoors! We have corn hole toss, horseshoe toss, but if you have toys you can use them here, throw the football, Frisbee or play some volleyball or Tether ball whichever! Or rent some of our Kayaks or fish and really enjoy the river! Porta Potty is available. Don’t miss out book now! -If smoking or drugs are discovered on the property the whole group will be asked to leave with NO REFUND. NO EXCEPTIONS. I am three miles from Lake Michigan and my town has a public access beach. I am surrounded by wineries, breweries, and antique stores. I am in the country but only a few miles off the expressway. Berrien County's adorable small towns are known for their special events all year round. My sites are dispersed so first come first choice. Find a fixed Fire Ring and set up your camp! Or pick a spot without a ring - I do have portable free fire pits.
