All the books have a horse-themed focus. Near the barn, you will find benches adjacent to the primary pasture, which is used for a local children's horse reading and confidence-building program. Our property, previously utilized for small hobby planes, now showcases a retired runway adorned with wildflowers. In the spring, various types of flowering trees and blooms of every color grace the area. With just two campsites available, we aim to provide privacy and a genuine appreciation of nature for all campers seeking such an experience.

Enjoy relaxing by our horse pasture and taking in the natural beauty of our horses. For those interested, there is a designated bench area toward the back of the grazing pasture, providing a quiet viewing spot for campers to observe the horses.
Reading Area: We have a small, private library (The Book Barn) for all campers to use during their visit. We kindly ask that all books remain on-site and are not taken home. All the books have a horse-themed focus. Near the barn, you will find benches adjacent to the primary pasture, which is used for a local children's horse reading and confidence-building program. Campers are welcome to enjoy this space as well.

If desired campers may set a tent up near the pasture but there is no fire ring, and fly's maybe an issue.

Sleek Acres includes our homestead, chicken yard and barn, a fishing pond with a beach, and over 8 secluded acres to the back of the property for guests to enjoy (including a walking trail.) We provide a bathhouse, which includes a toilet and shower (cold & hot water). A handwash/ dishwashing station is located right outside the bathhouse. Fire rings, cooking grates, and picnic tables are provided at each site. A small amount of firewood is provided, and additional firewood is available for purchase. Eggs are also available for purchase through HipCamp or on-site.

Oh man! What an amazing place. Great private spot, great host, very accommodating and friendly, would 100% stay here again. Definitely a back in site as advertised we had a 30 foot travel trailer. But It was not too bad to navigate.
Concrete drive and level. Very quiet the whole week. Duck hunting season was happening during our visit so the mornings but I actually enjoyed listening to that in the morning while walking the dog. Great outdoors experience, quiet neighborhood

Absolutely PERFECT private camping spot!! Geoff has done an immaculate job of setting up a well maintained and comfortable stay. 30amp plug in, hose to transfer water, fire pit and café lighting hung for ambiance. Timer and dimmer in the electric box. As it says in his profile, there is the e-train that goes by occasionally- but by no means does it minimize the stay! Geoff stopped by to welcome us, great guy. Had some common threads and ended up having a couple beers with him and great conversation. Ended up booking with him b/c the campgrounds were full - but will easily stay there again no matter what!

Beautiful place!! It felt warm and welcoming. It happened to go during the week and on short notice. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Once there the site was beautiful. I was looking for a peaceful night, and that's exactly what I got. Plus a lot of added extras. There was a nice walking trail that we found. They have tents and cabins. A nice garden, and very cool decorations. I do plan on visiting again!

Blooming Bus is a magical place! I stayed for just one night a couple of years ago with my youngest kiddo and finally brought the full family back for two nights at a larger site and it was amazing once again. We mostly kept to ourselves and enjoyed slowing down in our little cove of trees but it was nice to be able to wander out to visit the alpaca and enjoy the flowers.
The port-a-potties are nice and clean and wood and essentials in the farm store were an unexpected ease. Town is only a couple of minutes out as well if forgotten essentials are needed.
We were amazed to see so many stars (just shy of a new moon) and while there definitely is some road noise, and our first night included some unexpected fireworks (may have been from a neighboring property?) - our stay was tranquil and quiet enough for us to fully de-stress from the city and reconnect with nature. We had a delightful time and can't wait to come back!
