Our cozy camper sits within a dozen feet of our semi-private, stocked 18 acre lake, sand beach, and fishing dock. You will have a fire pit, hammock, table with chairs, and canoe or kayak to cruise the shore.
This is a semi-private lake with a total of six houses on the lake. You may not enter the other properties, but can use the entire lake. A guided fishing boat ride may be available for $75 per hour for up to two people, bait and fishing equipment provided.
If you want to take a break from our beach, plenty more adventure awaits you nearby. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, and sight seeing are all within a 15-minute drive. We are located near several forest preserves and the Fox River. Chicago is about an hour's drive or Metra train ride away, the station is 3.7 miles away.
The camper is stocked with basic camping type necessities. Hot water is NOT guaranteed, and NOT likely.
Clean sheets, pillows, blankets, and bath towels are provided. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, stove, range top, and microwave. We provide all kitchen essentials, coffee, tea, and one gallon of bottled water.
Plus a basket of fresh fruits and baked goods awaits your arrival.
