This was my first Hipcamp experience, and I was a big fan! The place was exactly as described. The host showed me around when I arrived and told me I could use a fridge / freezer in the barn as needed, which was a big help. The animals on site were adorable, and not a nuisance at all. They were kept far away from the site, and I only heard them once in awhile. There was not a lot of shade in the powered site, but a few steps away is a beautiful wood deck overlooking the stream which was shady all day and a great spot to cool down. When I first arrived, the electric wasn't working, and I messaged the host. He came to the site within 2 minutes to fix the issue. There were porta potties nearby, and the one I used was extremely clean. Normally I bring my own bathroom setup because I never trust those things, but I didn't need mine at all. The site felt very private. I never saw or heard anyone else at all. Other reviewers have mentioned road noise. I did hear cars on occasion, but the street was not busy enough to bother me at all.
I walked down to the waterfront site while I was there. It looked really great too, so I would recommend either one. I did not see the glamping site up close.
I wasn't feeling well and I did not get a chance to check out the area, so I can't comment on local activities.
One tip to future visitors, the gravel driveway to the property does not meet the main street. It branches off a shared driveway.

Such a relaxing spot by the creek. The dogs and I really enjoyed the solitude down there. The nighttime sounds were so peaceful. Really loved it.

Nice, spacious area and very acommodating hosts.
The river was so perfect and peaceful, the dogs really enjoyed swimming! Everyone fit comfortably and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The barn was super nice to escape from the rain and play some games. The animals are so adorable, and the host are super welcoming.

The host is great, campground is clean and nice, they have some goose, and other animals on the property.
Just motorhome and RV campers be careful, since it has very low hanging trees. Not only low hanging trees, but as well tight entrances, that will be rubbing tree limbs onto sides of the camper as well.
This campground is way more suited for tents or cars.
The location of this campground for my situation was great, I am willing to come back multiple other times, but I wish owner of the property would take care of the tree's that can damage equipment, this way we could avoid having trouble on vacation time.
Loved be able to camp right by the river with my dog. It can be hard to find camping in the area that allows dogs in the water areas. There is not a lot else to do but that’s what we’d were looking for a nice chill spot to relax and let the dog have fun. Would definitely return.
Oh and the farm animals were super cute to see!

We fell in love with Karen's property, it is so much more than we expected and had to stay two more days! Can't wait to come back to this rustic paradise! ✌🏻❣️🌻
Hosts were extremely welcoming and so friendly!
They showed us to our site and let us know about the trails and other unique parts of the stay. Loved seeing all of the animals (ducks, goats, geese, chickens etc).!
Our campsite was next to the creek, and it was lovely and private. We saw plenty of fish, tadpoles and king fishers and were even treated to watching other campers have a body glow stick dance through the trees in the middle of the night haha.
We will definitely be back!

My family and I appreciated Karen's hospitality, which was characterized by its tranquility, and they were very accommodating, attending to every need. They made us feel welcome and at ease.

We had an awesome weekend here. We car-camped at the campsite that was right next to the stream which was pretty and secluded. They even gave us extra firewood! Added bonus of being able to walk over and see the friendly goats and chickens there. Thank you!

Very nice location next to a flowing creek. Great horn owl hooting all night gently, I wish I saw it. There is a beautiful platform I can sit watch the sunset and listening to the bubbling creek. The owners are very nice and friendly. I got to charge my EV that is very nice.
Great place to get out of town ! Nice owners very clean area ! Be aware this is dispresed camping spot! Besides that I would be coming back ! No complaints. Loved the creek ! Will be coming back to fish next time !
Cute little sweet spot by the creek. Friendly host and clean porta potties. Ducks, chicken and goats on the property is fun for kids. Road is nearby but traffic is not too bad. Not a deal breaker but something to note.
Karen was a gracious host and the property is beautiful. They have a bunch of farm animals on site and wild animals in the area, and a lot of natural woodlands. My only disappointment was their property lines a semi busy road so you could hear traffic randomly throughout the night. That’s just one of my preferences though. It was easy to ignore and it’s definitely worth it.
I heard owls, coyotes, raccoons and tons of animals throughout the night. Was a beautiful natural place I camped, made a fire and tented in a nice secluded, sandy spot near the creek and a huge old beautiful tree. Thanks again Karen for your hospitality. Definitely needed the get away and the recharge from the land.
