Angel Creek

Overall is a good area…but the roads to get into the campsites are tight! My partner drives a dodge 3500 with 8’ bed and it was near to impossible to navigate into spot #10. Also he was 10’ from campsite #1 and #11 so just feet away from neighbors. If you have a big truck be prepared for lots of tight maneuvers.

Omar and his dad are great and were sure to check in to see if everything is OK. The sites are generally on the smaller side, but plenty for a couple of tents and sitting around a fire. There is a lot of separation between the sites, though. There is one caveat, you have to bring your garbage with you, so prepare for that. I wish they just had a dumpster at the exit to allow for disposal (my only real complaint). Overall a fantastic experience, though.

Site 12 - Park On Site - Max 8

The camp site was very nice with lots of trails to explore. this was my grand daughters first camping trip and she loved it. She couldn't stop talking about it. She is already planning another trip next year. Tthe only drawback, and I am sure Omar could not control this. Somewhere off site there was a party going on with a motorcycle running until at least 2 am. Noisy neighbors are a problem every where.

Site C - Hike to Site - Max 4

Martin was an amazing guy who dropped off firewood to everybody before it got dark out, he checked up on everything multiple times and let us know that he would talk to some louder campers without us even asking him. Overall site C was awesome and me and my two friends already made plans to go again some time soon. 10/10

Site 7 - Parking Near Site - Max 6

We rented 2 sites to fit our group of 6. The sites were well-maintained, and there didn't appear to be many mosquitoes. We were grateful that Martin checked-in towards the end of the night - we were able to resupply on wood. Although I do wish there was more wood supplied in each bundle - 1 bundle lasted about 30 minutes. In the morning we enjoyed exploring the trails. Bathrooms were clean and didn't smell; the automatic light for night time trips was greatly appreciated. We'd love to visit again in the future.

We loved this campsite. Everything went pretty smooth for us - booking, navigation to campsite, communication with Omar, stay. I would definitely come back next year and bring more friends with me. Special mention- bathrooms are super clean, very hard to find elsewhere.

Volleyball rematch 2026?

Site 14 - Park On Site - Max 8

Angel Creek has become an instant favorite for our family. We are lifetime campers and when our usual campsite shut down during the Covid pandemic we were forced to wander and find a new home. I think it’s safe to say that Angel Creek holds that title now. This is our second year attending and we find more reasons to return. This time around we had the pleasure of scrimmaging Omar and his lovely family in a friendly game of volleyball. Safe to say that all parties involved were extremely invested and a bit sore the following day. We all look forward to a rematch in 2026. Thanks again to Martin and Omar for making us feel like family during our stay.

Great family camping

Omar’s camp sites were outstanding. The space is well organized, clean, and beautiful. Their portable toilets are also the cleanest I have ever seen. Omar stopped by to say hello and make sure we had everything we needed, and even recommended a spot to watch the sunset. Our whole family had an enjoyable time and we’d definitely return in the future. 10/10.

The Family and I enjoyed staying at Angel Creek, the sites were close together but still felt private and cozy. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean for what they were. the campsite do not come with tables or grates to cook on so pack accordingly. other than that 8.5 out of 10

It was my first time here. Omar was very helpful and responsive about finding our campsite. It had a nice walking path. Would be a cute place for a family or a couple. We did find a few pieces of barb wire off to the side of the campsite. They did have quite a few portapottys to use. The driveway was also easy to find and use.

We had a great experience staying at Angel Creek this past weekend. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The owners came around and checked in on the campers a few times to ensure that everyone was good and safe. It was a family vibe environment, but still with plenty of privacy.

I’ve left reviews for Angel Creek before and I’m leaving another one. This was my third time returning to this Hipcamp camping ground. Each time we’ve stayed at different sites and each time we’ve been so happy with our experience. Camping at Angel Creek is always so pleasant. You forget you’re close to a road because the campsites really immerse you into a woodland paradise. The sites are very, very well maintained and their port-a-potties ARE ALWAYS CLEAN. As long as Omar and Martin will have us, we will be campers at Angel Creek for life 🥰 you will not be disappointed with your stay

Very clean and peaceful campground. Omar is definitely a five star host. It is quite a ways to get to the end of the campground where my site was, but I had no problem at all finding my site because everything was well marked as to what direction to take. Porta potties were extremely clean and the entire time I was there. I did not see one thing out of place or unkempt.. Will definitely be staying again if I’m in the area and 100% recommend.

This camp ground is very clean and well kept. Omar is super helpful and friendly, he stopped by and warned us about a big storm and made sure my group had a safe and fun night! He was able to arrange our group of 15+ a vast area for us to tent and car camp, along with beautiful hiking trails!

This campground is so super incredible! We stayed on sites 3 & 4 with a group of about 15 total and it was perfect. The porta john’s were very clean. Big grassy field we played games in. Trails in the woods to walk through. Omar and his dad both came to chat with us and were lovely. Made sure we had all our needs met.
