Cattail Lane

2 sites · RVs2 acres · Burley, Minidoka
*Little slice of country close to town. Located on a marsh. Enjoy mountain views with the sounds of birds and other wildlife. Walk into the marsh to enjoy a pond and bird watch. *bring bug spray * it is muddy parts of the year so if rain is in the forecast come prepared! *Park your RV just a few minutes away from the main part of town and a few minutes away from the boat docks! Some shade is provided by Russian olive trees. It can be muddy if it has rained since it is dirt/rock/weeds. Fire pit with some firewood provided, picnic table, and garbage available. Walking path by a pond in the cattails. It is a great place for bird watching! It is a wetland so bug spray is definitely recommended in spring and summer. In the warmer months, you do hear a lot of birds and frogs in the evenings and mornings! You will be camping close to our home. We do have 2 friendly dogs that we let roam our property but they will be put inside during quite hours.

Pheasant Acres (Runyon Ranch)

1 site · RV3 acres · Burley, Minidoka
Looking for a stopover place with plenty of wide-open space? Maybe our site will be a match for you and your RV! Our house and shop and a few other outbuildings sit on 3.5 acres on a dead-end dirt lane, and we have space we'd be open to sharing with you. We have three friendly dogs who are generally free to roam our property at will (lab, Yorkie, pug-chihuahua cross) since we have an underground fence system, but they will generally be indoors with us since they will insist you are here to visit THEM. (Must love dogs. ♥️) IF YOU HAVE DOGS, please keep them on a leash and clean up after them appropriately, thanks! We have two areas for parking your unit. The side yard and the back “yard.” Depending upon the size of your rig and the status of irrigation on the back acreage, we will help choose which location is best for us and for you upon arrival. (We’ll keep in touch about this.) Back “yard.” —- The back half of our property (triangle-shaped) is almost completely unoccupied except for the massive poplar trees that line the west border. The trees are home to at least one great horned owl, hawks, an occasional pheasant (my fave!), other birds, and squirrels. The area you’ll park in (dry camping/boondocking) is like a big back yard since I irrigate and mow it. No neighbors in the back of our property except livestock from time to time as well as a small group of deer (pretty rare). While we aren’t riverfront property, you can see the Snake River from our back yard (where you’ll likely be parked). Side yard. — Several trees and some shade. There are some branches to navigate but there is ample space to choose an adequate parking location. This site runs alongside our driveway so our vehicles will be in your area, but your extra vehicle(s) can also be parked in the driveway for easy access. (This is our less preferred spot for you and primarily would be utilized when I am flood irrigating the back property.) It has much less privacy because it is near our dirt lane and in between our home and our neighbor’s shed (but they are family). Being almost next to the Snake River, and having a natural marsh just to the North of our property, mosquito repellant is highly recommended during certain times of the year. We are just a few miles (5 mins or so) from the freeway, Walmart, restaurants, and public access to the Snake River (boating, fishing, swimming), and golfing.

Soto Sanctuary

1 site · RV, Tent2 acres · Jerome, Jerome
Wide open farmland located in southern Idaho. Completely private. One mile west of exit 165 on Hwy 84 in Jerome, Idaho. We are located on an acreage connected to 60 acres of farmland. A canal runs through the property. We do not have electricity hook ups or water available. Simple ground accommodations only. Wild birds are abundant. You will see Red Tail Hawks, quail, and pheasants running around. There are starlings, vultures, Mourning doves and magpies as well. You may spot a white bunny or a "rock chuck" peeking out now and then. Cows and goats are behind fences around the area. Occasionally, a coyote (or skunk) will come around but mostly in the fall and winter months. On the very rare occasion, a deer or two may come around. We are 20 miles from the Perrine Bridge which separates Jerome from Twin Falls, one of only two bridges located in the USA where base jumpers can soar year-round. Kayaks and boat rides are available for rent down in the canyon at Centennial Park located on the Snake River. You can find more information on how to do that at awoladventuresports.com. We are 120 miles east of Boise and 100 miles south of Sun Valley Idaho. Snow in the winter, warm breezes during the summer, and very dry climate year-round. Jerome has a Public RV Dump Station for your convenience located at 205 N. Fir Street, Jerome, ID, 83338. Mr. Gas at Exit 165 offers bathroom and shower facilities. There are several authentic Mexican Restaurants in town. El Sombrero, La Campensina, and Giarbaldi's are just a few. Jerome also has some really great local, family-owned diners. Choates Diner has been a mainstay in Jerome for decades. Fat Clarence on South Lincoln and 208 located on Main Street are just a few of the other choices available. Time to golf? Jerome Country Club allows public golfing as does 93 Golf Ranch. We also have a newly developed disc golf course located on Golf Course Road. Night life and "bigger city events" happen all year long in Twin Falls, located 20 miles south. The Orpheum and CSI Arts on Tour offer plays, musicals, and other cultural events. The Herrett Museum is a nice place for little ones. There are lots of other things to see as well. The Shoshone Falls and the Balanced Rock are great options for sightseeing. Idaho has a wonderful vibe and runs at slower pace. It's been said we are 10 years behind the rest of the world. We're excited to have visitors. But don't tell anyone how great it is here. We don't want too many people moving here! :)

Pasture Oasis, Tent & RV Camping 🏔

10 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · Shoshone, Lincoln
Learn more about this land:Welcome to our pasture oasis!  Our property is 4 miles down the road from BLM, where you are able to do any outdoor activities you desire. Personally, I love to ride horses and hike there. You may be greeted by horses or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account).  If you are a horse or dog lover, you are able to interact with our animals on the property! I am on the property, as well, for any questions/issues/concerns. There is a runoff river that runs through the property but rarely has water. We like to use it for campfires instead! Please reach out with questions and we look forward to your visit!
