This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek.
This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is no longer off grid, but if the power does go out, it's a great place to be.. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)!
Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi.
There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever!
We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire.
Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting.
It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake.
I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid!
If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

There are multiple dining options from breakfast to dinner within 7-10 miles. We have kayaks available upon request as there are multiple small lakes (Kelso and Granite Lake) less than 5 miles away.
We are generally available and on-site 24/7 for any issues, questions and or problems that may need solved. In the case you forget anything at all……we can find it, fix it or provide it. Weekend Trip to Cozy Mountain Bungalow
The cabin was great - it was a small shed converted into a cabin that had a single (full-sized? queen?) bed with a rocking chair, an armoir, and a small closet. The bathroom was an attached outhouse with sawdust to soak up waste and neutralize any smells. They provided a camping sink with 5 gallons of water, a camping gas stove, a citranella candle, and plates, bowls, and utensils. The cabin sits towards the middle of the driveway to the hosts' house and they have the friendliest dog. My son and I had a great time. Zero light pollution, no noise pollution, just fresh north Idaho air.

1 night at Dancing Tree Sanctuary
The Hosts are so solid. People you want in your life. Kind, genuine. For me this is important and makes all the difference in this life and especially when sharing community.
However, It wouldn’t really matter if you didn’t like them anyway, because in the whispering woods of their remote property, the cabin is on its own level. You’re all alone in the Magic of the hill top.
Great place to reset, write, read. Or, Do absolutely nothing with your dog.
Also a good jump off point to many trails and everything Panhandle. 20 minutes from Sandpoint. We came from Priest Lake and were headed to Glacier via the Swinging Bridge route on 2.
Good pillows, comfortable bed, cast iron, games, telescope, wall of windows, yet so private. Only the soaring Eagles will see you.
Doug brought me maps and books and Jessica brought me solutions for anything that came up along my way. Great communication. Reliable. Fair.
Not for the Bougie. Unless you’re trying to come back to earth.

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin. It is a cute and cozy space, not too far from coeur d’alene but outside the city enough to avoid the noise and city lights. The dogs felt really comfortable and were able to run around and explore. We had all the comforts of home away from home and Aran was a really welcoming and responsive host. Would love to go again in the colder months to stoke a fire and enjoy the beautiful scenery in winter

The 7B Bungalow was everything we hoped for and so much more! The detail of every little thing about Bungalow was unbelievable. All the things you could need or want while still being minimal. The bungalow was crafted so beautifully inside and out. You can definitely tell lots of hard work work was put in! Our dog loved wandering around the property. The bungalow felt like it was a 100 miles in the woods, but it was just tucked away perfectly. The whole property was amazing and beautiful. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We definitely hope to come back again!!

A peaceful escape surrounded by nature! The little cabin was nestled in the woods, it was very cozy and private. Mornings with birdsong, hummingbirds humming around feeder and evenings under a sky full of stars made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. The Phoenix Rising Ranch is a special place. Lori was a great, sweet host.

A picturesque, serene oasis! Close to the main road, but feels worlds away from the hustle of city life. Quaint, idyllic, comfortable, and so very very peaceful. Absolutely perfect location for our family’s trip to the state park and Silverwood. Owners are responsive and hospitable. All the rave reviews are justified!
This place reminded me of a poem by William Butler Yeats called “The Lake Isle of Innisfree”. Yeats describes a cabin on an island where he retreats so his soul can be restored. The second stanza of that poem perfectly describes what we felt at this heavenly Hipcamp Haven.
“And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.”

Great Cabin in an awesome location! No hassle getting there and Aran was very helpful answering any questions we had. Very accommodating for pets and had plenty of room for them to run an play! The Cabin had great amenities inside and out, the propane fireplace was great to sit by. 10/10 we would stay here again, better than any hotel or KOA cabin.

Weekend Trip to Phoenix Rising Ranch
