Weekend Trip to Cagle Cove

We used this as a Basecamp to attend our daughter's lacrosse games. The setting was beautiful and you can tell the owners put lots of effort into maintaining it. We had an equipment issue that was going to be an expensive fix but Beth immediately helped us with a solution! Of course, Mayor Lilly is the highlight of the camp. If my daughter plays on this area again, we will stay here!

Weekend Trip to Micone Ranch

Stopped over in the dark and found easy directions to a private hill. Paid for two vehicles. Nice and quiet, then we left at dawn to continue south. Perfect place to stop. Beautiful sunrise from here. I hope to arrive earlier next time. Would have loved to feed the goats.

Weekend Trip to Mini Acres Farm

Ron was wonderful. We didn’t get to the farm until 10 pm and he waited up to make sure we knew where to park and showed us where everything was in the camping spot. The horses and mini horses were awesome!

Great place to stay for the night. Lot's of chickens with for or so beautiful roosters. Nice gazebo fire pit area. The beef we bought was great. Be sure to eat at the Irish restaurant in Ontario very good homemade food.

6 nights at Murphys Point Alpaca Ranch

Drew is such a gem in the beautiful gem state. We were blessed to get to meet all the animals and enjoy some fresh chicken eggs. Our RV had to go to maintenance shop and so we were in and out of the spot, but Drew was so understanding and it was never an issue. And with a big rig, we had our reservations. It was delightful to have someone understanding host us. We will be returning to Idaho in the coming months and would not hesitate to book again.

Amazing hosts! Super clean and cozy camper with all of the critical amenities - Love the Coffee Bar!! Would definitely recommend and will be back.

1 night at Butterfield Farms

Good place to rest for the night! Reliable power outlet and close to groceries and the main part of town. Some neighbor dogs were outside during the day, which may or may not affect your own pet. Overall would recommend.

I spent a peaceful night at Tamara’s, the location is accurate and I just parked in their front (before the gate to field). I actually like that is easy in and out, have street light (feel safe!) and very flat. Thanks for Tamara and her hubby’s accommodation I did enjoy the night a lot 😊

(Available June through October) Enjoy s'mores by the fire while you watch the sun set over the beauitful rolling hills, relax on the turf grassed area in the hammock, or lie around in the comfy queen bed all day! (Two twin beds are also available inside the tipi upon request.) Each tipi is equipped with everything you need to make your experience enjoyable and memorable including chairs, roasting sticks, wood, a bbq and supplies, extra blankets, lantern, fan, heater, bottled water, eating utensils, a handwashing area, and a portable restroom nearby. Please note that there is no electricity or running water. We offer many add-on packages with the Tipi stays, including a Sweethearts Package, S'mores Package, U-pick Flower Experience, and even a Movie Night Package! (Depending on Availability) PLEASE remember the tipi is subject to temps. Please be prepared for the tipi to be colder inside on cooler nights or warm inside on hotter days. Micone Ranch

Our place is 28 acres. Do not drive into the upper field, there is a stop sign on that gate. It is irrigated, and you could get stuck and cause property damage. Our niche is that we only host one group of people at a time. Whether you are a solo camper or a group of 50, you will never have to compete for space with another group. This also allows for increased safety for single travelers and elderly. We are open year-round but make sure your tires can handle our terrain. Our driveway is immediately off Ontario Heights Rd. Google tells people to turn on Grand View Lane. Do not do this as there is no access to our property from that direction. We have a 300-gallon trash bin next to our mailbox that says camp host. Our driveway is immediately across the road from there. The gate is latched but not locked on the left side. Initial fee covers a spot for one sleeping structure. Add any additional tents/rv/vehicles used for sleeping. You can add extra sleeping structures under the extra tab. Included in options to buy is RV power hook up and EV overnight charging. A small somewhat muddy creek runs through the front of the property year-round. The water is clearer during the winter and spring months. Cleared spots in this area are small so only tent camping in this area is recommended. It is densely wooded. We have goats in this field, they are shy. Oregon has an invasive poisonous weed called Water hemlock. If you camp in this area, familiarize yourself with this plant so you can avoid it. Camping areas have been cleared of this plant but if you wander along the creek you will encounter it. Areas people have liked are up top by the top field gate, or down in the field that our large chicken coop is in. There are no animals in those areas, but chickens do make noises. Up top we have roosters that make noise about 5 am. The lower field on the right is the quietest. If you have children camping near the house is recommended. The bridge at the entrance to our property is 11' wide, which should allow a standard 8' RV to pass into the property. RV hook up is right off the driveway by the power pole. Ground is in its native form and only gets minimal rain. Some weeds and goatheads may be present. Look us up on Facebook under Micone Ranch.
