Park like setting, in town mini ranch on 3 acres, with pastures, trees, and gardens. We have horses, chickens, goats and ducks to keep you company while you explore the grounds, with several benches to sit and relax. Our property is fenced and gated, therefore private and secure. We are close to the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers, with world class steel head fishing. Within 30 minutes you can be exploring the Waha or Blues Mountains. We are 40 minutes from Moscow ID and Pullman WA. We have room for you to park your campers and/or boats. If you’re here for the rodeo, you can board your horse here along with you. Small groups are welcome. We have a large covered area for group eating and gatherings. Glamping groups are welcome too! We are on the southeast corner of the Lewiston Orchards area, just up from the Rodeo grounds.

Welcome to Sundown RV Park and Campground, conveniently located right in the town of Grangeville. We are within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store/deli, Family Dollar Store, a department store, hospital and churches. Although a small town, Grangeville is by far the largest within an hour and a half, and has many more amenities than the smaller towns in the area. Most cell phones can get reception in Grangeville, and we have free WIFI. As new owners we knew this little park needed some TLC and improvements so we got to work. So far we have added new gravel, signs, electrical meters, and 4 retaining walls, flower planters, and have worked hard to clean and spruce up the property.

The site is in front of my home with direct access to thousands of acres of the Idaho Department of Lands that borders the property. The property is within easy driving distance of historical Pierce and Orofino. Crooked Whiskey Acres is also close to the Clearwater National Forest. You can enjoy a scenic drive over French Mountain to the North Fork of the Clearwater River or walk, hike, ride, or snowmobile on the many roads and trails throughout the area.

Very quiet and a nice view of the Kamiah valley Kamiah, Idaho, is a gateway to a variety of recreational activities, offering access to the scenic Clearwater River and nearby wilderness areas. The Clearwater River is a popular destination for fishing, particularly for steelhead and salmon, attracting anglers year-round. Farm life amid suburbia. Renee is a great host and the animals are delightful. The grass is clean and green, not at all a stinky mess. Fresh fruit and eggs were offered and we gratefully enjoyed them!

We absolutely loved camping at Renee's. She is a generous, kind soul. Our van pulled into large clean green grass field, with an equally clean outhouse. It was fenced between her beautiful garden and a sweet horse. Renee is a clear communicator, lives on site and provided a safe place for the night. I would recommend this spot especially to solo females.

I had the camp area to myself, and the Porta potty was the cleanest smelling, and cleanest overall, I ever experienced. It was very quiet albeit started out warm for my one night stay. It cooled down in the hours before dawn and I corrected a few things to make the next evening, in Boise, a bit more comfortable.

4 nights at Crooked Whiskey Acres

Whiskey Acres RV park is a one campsite location. There are no other campers to bother you – – – you have the place all to yourself except for the owner’s home. John is very friendly and helpful in getting your RV situated, leveled. He has convenient full hook ups, and sewer adjacent to the site. He provides a portable metal fire pit and firewood. There are ducks in one pen and chickens in a coop nearby. I enjoyed the clucking of the chickens and an occasional crowing in the morning. There’s also a hummingbird feeder, and it was enjoyable to watch a couple hummingbirds fight over the feeder.

Wonderful spot. We will definitely be returning. Communication was consistent and clear- directions were easy to follow and the space was easy to use. The hosts were kind and helpful. Renee shared all sorts of goodies from their garden. While the space is in town, it felt private and had a nice on-the-farm feel.

Gil's campsite was exactly what we were looking for on our road trip. He was very helpful with directions and met us to make sure we found our space easily and had everything we needed. His large lot was level and easy to move the trailer around, peaceful and private with a fantastic view. We will definitely be stopping again next year!

A beautiful and welcoming property on the outskirts of Lewiston, ID. This is one of the most restful and pleasant HipCamp sites I’ve experienced in the last three years. With a ranch feel, including livestock of all kinds, bountiful gardens, and all the amenities you need for a peaceful and restful stay. Renee and her husband are gracious hosts and will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. 5 stars!
