We had a great experience at Seven Stars Ranch! The property is very well kept; it was such a peaceful environment. My family absolutely loved it and want to come back soon! Sonia & Andrew were very kind hosts. I high recommend stopping here if you are in the Coeur d'Alene area.

Andy and Sonia are so friendly and welcoming! Even though you’re camping on a farm you don’t feel like you are! They’re very accommodating and the ranch is so peaceful and calming. We will definitely be coming back next year!

We had a blast at the little cabin and the lake was just magnificent. Just a nice little gem! We had a lacrosse tournament in Sandpoint and this was a fun little spot for some family time in between games! We enjoyed the peaceful water and had a nice fire to make some s’mores! Would definitely stay in the future. The pictures don’t do it justice. We slept in our camper van! There is a robin’s nest with 3 little blue eggs in the eve of the cabin too.

Weekend Trip to Paradise on Mirror Lake

This site (A) is super cute and I would say is the most private and rewarding site. It’s right by the dock, but we only briefly saw one other person. You get a small cabin (that is great for storage if you don’t stay in it), a nice fire pit, hammocks, and a fantastic tent site. The solar powered battery pack saved us because we had a leaky mattress. Highly recommend this site!

This campsite was perfect for me and my dog for an overnight stay. The campground was perfect and the lake was very peaceful and beautiful.

I Stayed at Campsite C and had a beautiful view of the lake. I was also close to the eletrical box which was very nice. I added in the geocaches and those were also fun. My gf made a sketch of the scenery to put into one of the geocache boxes. I hope whoever finds that enjoys! I would love to stay at this campsite again!!!

3 nights at Paradise on Mirror Lake

We stayed in Site B with a 21ft trailer. The site was very spacious but a little awkward to get the trailer backed in close to the plug based on the traffic flow direction and the location of the pedestal. The pad area was relatively flat but did require a little bit of level to the camper. The campground was quiet and secluded. During our stay, there was no one camping near the shoreline, and we were able to enjoy some time lounging in the hammocks. We would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at site A two nights, and had a lovely time. The enchanted forest and Sasquatch trail were fun, and the birds on the lake were also a real treat. Nathaniel was attentive and kind!

We had such a great time at this campsite. It is perfect if you are looking for something to get outside with some privacy, but not super far off from towns. The porta potty and amenities shed were great condition. The lake was more beautiful in person - we will definitely be coming back!

Campers will have gorgeous views and sunsets over the lake. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, hiking and wildlife watching abound. The campsite is off-the-beaten path so you'll be away from the crowds, yet the site is still close to other area attractions like Lake Pend Oreille (10 min. drive), charming downtown Sandpoint (15 min. drive) and Silverwood Theme Park (30 min. drive). The beauty and allure of Mirror Lake led to it being featured in two Hollywood movies -- Dante's Peak (1997) and Mel (1998). The lake itself is excellent for fishing, and stocked with Kokanee, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Cutthroat Trout. The stocking is typically scheduled for the first week of June each year, so if you are an angler, it's best to come after June 7th for the best fishing. Paying homage to the Bigfoot legend in northern Idaho, the theme of this campground is all things Sasquatch! Can you find all 9 Sasquatch hiding throughout the campground? Swimming in nearby Talache Landing (a.k.a. Talache Beach) on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille is an absolute must-do. The views are absolutely stunning and the water is crystal clear -- and quite refreshing on a hot day. Fishing is best done in a canoe or small boat which can be put in at our campground dock (free) or at the nearby public boat ramp ($5 fee). When selecting your campsite, please take note of the following: Best lake views: Sites A, C and D. (Sites 1, 2, 3, E and F have partially obstructed lake views due to trees.) Easiest RV access: Site B. It's a pull-through site. Most private: Sites A, B, 1, 2 and 3, or Sites C/D or E/F, when booked in pairs. (Do not book C/D or E/F for complete privacy unless you book them in pairs.) Most shade: Sites A, E and F. Sunniest: Sites B, C and D. Electric access: Sites B, C and D. (C/D share a power pedestal.) There are mountains, wetlands, meadows and forest land right in our back yard with an abundance of wildlife that don't understand boundaries. At any time, one critter or another will stroll through and feast on whatever vegetation they desire. We don't have a view of the river but it's nearby and our meadows and mountains offer a peaceful scene all its own. Camp surrounded by Old Growth Cedars and towering Grand Fir, stargaze by night, enjoy a campfire, smores and time with your family, Our peace includes little to no cellular or wifi service. We still depend on our landline phone and don't offer internet or satellite tv. Feels like we're in the country but we live on a paved county road and only 4 miles from the city of Priest River. Bring your boat for a trip on the Pend Oreille River to Lake Pend Oreille. Launching is a short distance away at the Mud Hole, Priest River City Beach or Riley Creek Campground. Try your hand at fishing for bass, kokanee, perch, northern pike, and trout in the river or on the lake. Wake up in a peaceful woodsy setting where elk, deer, the occasional moose and turkeys roam the property and are often seen in the meadow. Load up your ATV, side by side or motorcycle and head for Priest Lake right from here. It’s a 21 mile (40 minute ride) to Coolin, ID. Enjoy the back county and take some of the IDL roads along the way to explore scenic drainages and in July/August pick some luscious huckleberries (the state fruit of Idaho) for a pancake or milkshake treat. In the fall, a nice central location for hunting camp. Want to go skiing or enjoy the summer lift ride? Head up to Schweitzer Mountain, about an hour drive away (38 miles/65 mins). The city of Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille (Idaho's largest lake) are a half hour away (26 miles/33 mins) and Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, ID less than an hour away (36 miles/52 min).

We do not provide hook-ups but there is a gas station not far from the ranch that provides clean-outs. We provide excellent clean water and an extension cord. We also provide some of the friendliest cutest animals to visit. This is self-check-in so find your clearly marked site and park. You are on a livestock working ranch with well taken care of animals. We will greet you when we are able do so. We purchased this wonderful 40 acre ranch in our retirement years. We had never done ranching or farming before and wanted a new experience with this gift called life. Being long time hard working Alaskans and living the Alaskan Adventure we could see no reason to be in our golden years and not have another adventure. Our many different animals provide us with entertainment and a purpose. Mini Donkeys asking for a bum rub and braying for breakfast always brings a smile. Alpacas, Llamas and Valais Black Nose Sheep, provides us with beautiful rugs from their own fiber that we sell in the Seven Stars Store. The rest of the hats, gloves, blankets and wonderful socks come from Peru. Mini horses that love to be brushed and even have their hair braided all make for an unusual experience. This is a beautiful slice of heaven minuts off the Interstate and close to all other amenities. Gently sloping topography with grasslands and evergreens abound. The campsite is situated on its own private corner of the property encompassing about an acre. The other parts of the property house a working Boarding stall and indoor arena for horses and the main residence is beyond that. There is water and power to the site as well as an established fire pit when burning is permitted.
