We are very close to hiking, hot springs, rapelling, 200+ miles of ATV and SxS trails, golf, mini-golf, a driving range, skiing, ice cream parlor and two restaurants, and the mighty Snake River corridor right across the road. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and less than two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). The smaller of the two parks in Caribou-Targhee National Forests, Caribou is a welterweight not to be underestimated. Just south of its older brother, this land spans Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho, and is a crucial spot for supporting caribou populations. None of the animals here are bashful: bison, moose, deer, mountain lions, falcons, elk, and even black bears abound! Beautiful to snap shot from a distance. Just south of the forest, Bear Lake is a fun spot to take a dip after you hike one of Caribou’s dozens of peaks (Mead Peak and Hawks Peak have gorgeous views, as does Big Elk Mountain at the northern tip of the park). At the south end, you’ll find campgrounds, fast flowing creeks, and the Minnetonka Cave at St. Charles Canyon. This is a site to see, but it stays 40 degrees down there all year so be sure to pack a coat, even if you’re sweating above ground. When you’re done, stop in the charming small town of Montpelier, surrounded by rolling hills and full of retro grocers and kitschy eateries. Yum!

The yurt was really nice and had two single beds / one queen sized bed- it could definitely house an average family. It was clean and comfortable, with a nice covered outdoor patio area, and access to full bathroom / shower facilities. Would highly recommend; great value for the price!

Amazing opportunity-you simply could not ask for more hospitable hosts. They're incredibly kind and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. And my last night there, they even threw a small bonfire for all the guests to join and share their travel adventures (which I very much appreciated since I was traveling solo). The views were incredible of course, between the starry night sky, the surrounding hills and the nearby national parks. But I think the people are what made this stay one to remember. I cannot recommend this opportunity enough.

Great site for my quick stay after hitting some Teton hikes. Close to the snake River grill which hit the spot and the bath/shower was perfect.

We stayed a couple of nights here and enjoyed it! It was easy to get to and directions to our spot were clear. It’s secluded and quiet, but also offers a small bar (dogs are allowed inside!) and general store. We will definitely be back!

My friend and I LOVED car camping on Bryce & Nellie’s land! Literally the best camping experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was incredibly friendly and so welcoming to us. Definitely stay here, it’s worth it! There’s horses, a clean community kitchen & bathroom, and an hour 20 minutes (ish) from the Tetons!

Great 3 day stay at this great location that had all we needed for a perfect base camp to explore The Grand Tetons and surrounding areas. If you are looking for a great location at a clean and friendly spot, this one fits the. There is even a spot where you can see the sun set over the Tetons. Gas station/Mini Market is also around the corner for quick and easy fill up or last minute needs.

I really enjoyed camping here. They have a free pool and hot tub to use. Electricity in cabins with a celing fan to keep cool. They have free clean showers and bathrooms. I will mention that while they do have firewood it is not free. Make sure to take some with you or pay for some there. The price is reasonable. They do have coin up wash machines. The cabins are reasonably priced for a night. I will definitely return!

Weekend Trip to Snake River RV Park & Campground

First time staying in an RV Park. I liked the little cabin. It's a little humid inside the cabin in summer but we had a box fan that helped a little. The park has doggy play areas, playground for the kids, chess and basketball. The bathroom was very clean with warm showers. The pool was clean and everything seemed to be taken care of and clean. The little shop has some food and gifts. Everyone we met employees and guests were very nice. The little food truck has some yummy chicken tenders and onion rings. The food truck employees were also very nice.
