This 3 acre peninsula into the Teton River provides amazing trout fishing right from your tent door (licenses issued just 1 mile down the road). This gorgeous nature area is minutes from town, with easy access to HWY20 and HWY33. Deer, moose, bald eagles and osprey frequent the area year round, as well as beaver, waterfowl and night owls. RV dumps right down the road, as well as a 27 hole golf course, if that's your thing. Or just relax, dip your feet in the Teton River and listen to the water pass by. Ross Meadow RV

The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley. Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's. Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's. My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917. They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay. Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses. In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River. It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho. This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean. Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights. Our location sits at an elevation of 6,300' above sea level.Learn more about this land:Located 1 mile from Victor, Idaho along the Old Jackson Highway. Nice view of the southern Teton Range. We have 5 acres with electric and water located 5 miles north of Victor ID, 3 miles south of Driggs ID, and about 30 miles from Jackson WY. We are currently building a yurt on the property but we don’t live on the property. There is also an RV and shipping container stored on the property. The driveway is 1000’ of dirt road but in fairly decent shape. I don’t have any problems with my 40’ class A on the driveway going slowly. It’s a very quiet location with awesome views in every direction. 30 amp, 50 amp, or 120VAC hookup available. A dump station is located in Victor ID at the Stinker Station gas station.

Children must be watched always and very closely-- enjoy being with your children on the property. A beautiful Restroom and Shower House is fee free. We are located in the Heise-Kelly Canyon of southeast Idaho with fabulous sunrises and sunsets. We are very close to hiking, hot springs, rapelling, 200+ miles of ATV and SxS trails, golf, mini-golf, a driving range, skiing, ice cream parlor and two restaurants, and the mighty Snake River corridor right across the road. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes). Both routes are beautiful with waterfalls, gorgeous mountain views, and Idaho countryside. We are 20 minutes from Bear World in Rexburg, and less than two hours from Grand Teton Park and Yellowstone National Park regardless of which of the four routes that you take, with each route including a beautiful waterfall. 90 minutes to the east to Jackson/GTNP/then South Gate in YNP (2 routes-- the mountain pass or the easy Snake River route), and 90 minutes to the north to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone West Gate (2 steep mountain passes).
