Great little spot! Drew was great, engaging and fun to talk to. Alpacas were cute and very interesting to watch them interact…even had a baby alpaca born while I was there…quiet and very welcoming… Will go back when in the area again

1 night at Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The site was gorgeous and right next to the river. Great communication from the host too. The site is close to a road so there was occasional noise from passing cars.

Weekend Trip to Little Creek

No issues whatsoever camping here. Easy to find, easy access to a bathroom, easy communication with host, and nice and quiet at night. All in all, a great experience.

Drew was a great host and he gave a great tour of his little farm. He was easy to talk to and I will gladly stay there again in the future.

2 nights at Garden Valley River Access Campsite

This is a wonderful site with lots of options and a surprising amount of space! Big flat area effortlessly hosts a giant 5th wheel (or two!) while a shaded upper area was optimal for my camper van or a trailer. Just below that was a long strip at rivers edge (but still a few feet up the bank) ideal for tents and tiring out dogs (or kids!). Even had a picnic table waiting. The site is easily accessed off the road, but that does mean you’ll have cars passing close by (moderate speed, roughly one every minute or two). Didn’t bother me but something to consider if you’re sensitive to that. As another reviewer noted, yes the neighbors play music on a capable set of outside speakers for an hour or two in the afternoon, but it passed eventually and things were quiet most of the time. I’d still come back. Good Starlink connectivity with just a bit of obstructions at the edges that I could probably have avoided if I setup elsewhere.

Weekend Trip to Little Creek

This pla e is really nice, the house has the old southern house vive with big trees, Kim is a great host, she tried to accommodate all my needs, the driveway down to the house it's gravel but really very easy , I've made it with my 28ft trailer. You can use the firepit, she has smores ready to go. I would totally recomand the place. Also super close with Caldwell downtown, that is cute with great places to eat.

1 night at Little Creek

Just a small, quiet campground which has had a lot of improvements from the previous year. We loved our stay last time and throughly enjoyed staying here again. The owner was not in town so we were greeted by her friend who was house sitting. She was super cool and gave us several recommendations of restaurants in the area. I was not cooking after our long day of travel!! I really enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the birds and fresh country air verses the road noise when we have to stop at a Cracker barrel or rest stop. We will definitely come here again, next time we are traveling through. This place is close to I 84 so very easy to get to.

6 nights at Murphys Point Alpaca Ranch

Drew is such a gem in the beautiful gem state. We were blessed to get to meet all the animals and enjoy some fresh chicken eggs. Our RV had to go to maintenance shop and so we were in and out of the spot, but Drew was so understanding and it was never an issue. And with a big rig, we had our reservations. It was delightful to have someone understanding host us. We will be returning to Idaho in the coming months and would not hesitate to book again.

Murphys Point Alpaca Ranch

Looking for a quiet spot with country views and Alpacas? Murphys Point Ranch is located 3 miles from historic downtown Nampa located in the heart of the Treasure Valley. MPR is a small pocket farm that started with a Lab and a few chickens. The Alpaca herd has grown this summer with the first baby of the season born in June. There are 14 total with 3 babies. We have fresh pasture raised eggs for sale from the 30+ chickens. Meeting the animals and farm tours can be arranged in advance. Our 4.5-acre farm has been transitioned into a sustainable Idaho farm and is 100% solar powered, including one of the first electric tractors in the state. Wilson Springs Pond is half a block down the road. This 55 acre nature area offers many walking paths and is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination. 1. RV's must be in good shape and fully functioning. NO Car or MiniVan Camping. 2. Pets are NOT ALLOWED for their safety and that of the animals. Dogs are prey animals in the eyes of an Alpaca and they will kill a dog if it gets too close. 3. No Smoking or Vaping. 4. No Generator use, we have 30 amp service. 5. Quiet Time 9pm - 8am

Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. We are a 501c3 facility. We are in the middle of farmland where cows moo and corn grows tall. Just 12 minutes away from Ontario OR. should you need shopping. Walking distance from a working dairy if you ever wanted to see one. We have a 90x130 riding arena, should you be hauling horses yourself and need to let them out. Our horses and dogs are available for petting/grooming should you not have any. Fire pit, outhouse, BBQ and picnic table is onsite. Freeway noise an issue for some.
