Learn more about this land: We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good. We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent. This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

PLEASE PACK OUT ANY TRASH. THANK YOU The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper. There are two private roadside spots available that can accommodate tent camping and/or trailers. Spot A is slightly larger, while spot B is a bit smaller — but I’ve parked my 35-foot bumper-pull toy hauler trailer on it before, with the toy door open and plenty of room behind it, no issues at all. Campfires are allowed on both sites; however, you must observe and comply with any fire ban periods. Legal hunting and fishing are welcome on the surrounding BLM land! Please follow all hunting and fishing laws and carry the proper licenses and tags with you at all times while participating. 🚫 Firearms: For the safety of all guests, no discharging of firearms is allowed on the property. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Capacity: Parties of up to 10 people per spot are permitted. In the early 1900's three sheep ranchers--August Broderson, James Fisher, and Isaac Leighton--each purchased residential lots in Weiser and built brick homes designed by Idaho architect H. W. Bond. This property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915 by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. The Broderson family lived here for decades and were a prominent family in Weiser history. Learn more about this land:The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Our 2 1/2 acre historic farm is located in the heart of town, so you have the best of both worlds: easy access to town amenities, and a restful retreat in nature at the end of the day. Grocery store, seasonal farmer's market, coffee shop, eateries, library, and downtown shops are all within easy walking or biking distance. Weiser is known world-wide for its annual fiddle festival in June! Our campsite is within walking or biking distance of all of the Fiddle Week activities. Campsite is located underneath a large shady oak tree. Campers are welcome to use the fire pit when fire bans are not in effect. Electric hookups are located immediately next to the campsite, as well as a non-potable water source. Note that we are located in town and campers are required to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and be courteous of neighbors.

Weekend Trip to Waterfront cabin and camping

Location is beautiful--about 40 minutes on a gravel road outside of Huntington on the Snake River. The camper itself is pretty rustic and bare bones. Be sure to bring your own towels, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen has just enough supplies to make a very simple meal and the appliances worked fine. Thanks to Danny and the dogs for hosting us 😀

I was met by Erin upon arrival. She was friendly and a great host (same for communication prior to arrival). The location is set back in a lot behind the home. Its safe and secure with power and water. Nearby is a great firepit area (we didn't use as it was 95 degrees) and a gentle sheep named Tilly. Fun, quirky and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay!

This is a nice spot! We were able to fit two big tents and a table as well. The outhouse is better than most. The best thing about this spot is the beach. It’s a beautiful walk, and short enough that we could carry our 1.5 year old and our 4 year old could walk. Super fun weekend trip, we would do it again!

Great location with river access. We pulled a small overland trailer with a rooftop tent and were able to find a nice, flat space, and get it leveled out. I don’t believe there is a beach but great water by the campsite. We didn’t make it to the water as we were visiting family, but our pups did. It’s a nice, long strip of mowed grass with mowed river access. The military vehicle mentioned as a marker was tucked behind what I think was a box trailer, but the property was evident and the address brought us right there. Quiet at night aside from occasional traffic and the river was audible from our tent.

This site far exceeded our expectations. Road noise was not an issue at all. We were able to park at the top of the space then bring chairs and dinner down by the river. Very peaceful.
