If you are a Eco tourist or seeking adventure, you will love our spot! The silence is golden and the stars are amazing. Don't expect a hotel...this is upcountry glamorous camping. It's one-of-a-kind! Most of the parcels are 20 acre parcels around… But a few smaller parcels across the road. We have nice neighbors who keep an eye on things. The nearest grocery store is about 3 miles away. The Hele-On Bus is just 1.2 miles up the road. If you want to drive to the green sand beach at the end of our road, rent a 4 wheel drive. If you are athletic, you can walk, but it is 4 miles down and 4 miles back. I recommend going early in the morning and take water. Hot water shower is propane. Bring ice for your ice chest. Very peaceful and relaxing! Our glamping cabins are in the front 3 acres. The back 17 acres is an old Ohia forest with 500 year old trees and lots of birds. You might even see a wild goat or a wild pig. There are small caves and gorgeous rock formations. It backs up to Manuka Forest Reserve.

2 nights at Jacaranda Ridge

I had a fantastic two-night stay in the “SHE” shed, which featured a cool mood lighting! The area was incredibly peaceful for sleeping, and the cabin had an amazing cross breeze that ensured a comfortable night's rest. While there is air conditioning, it wasn't necessary. The views were spectacular, with beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and great opportunities for stargazing. Eddie was very accommodating; he even built a fire for me so I could make s'mores! His dogs, Coco and Ocho, were incredibly sweet—Coco kept watch outside my door all night. The shower offered hot water, and having a flushing toilet was definitely a plus. Eddie is knowledgeable about the area and can guide you in the right direction, no matter what journey you're on! I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

My wife and I loved staying here! It definitely is a nature lover's paradise. Loved hearing the Coqui frogs at night <3 There is a hot shower, wifi, and open bathroom, along with a wonderful kitchen all ready for us to use. My wife especially loved the plants and view from the second floor balcony. the bed was super comfortable and the yoga room was super cool as well! I recommend for those who want to experience the nature of Big Island and have a get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you Saige!

Comfortable bed, beautiful view, very remote. David was a great host! Very friendly! Everything worked as described. The stars were beautiful and the sky was vast. Great place to stay if you're not scared of a little off-roading and "roughing it"!
