Additionally, it's even closer to many beautiful attractions up and down the Hamakua Coast. Nevertheless, many guests find that simply staying on the property and relishing the peace and tranquility of the space provides a truly restorative vacation experience. This place is perfect for nature-loving couples or solo travelers seeking a secluded retreat. Important to Note: Please refrain from bringing heavy luggage, and if you have any physical injuries or conditions that may make traversing stairs and uneven terrain difficult, this may not be the ideal location for you. Access to the bungalow is via a jungle path, which is uneven and requires a bit of a distance from the parking area. A rental car is necessary, as the property is approximately 25-30 minutes north of Hilo, and public transportation/taxi service is very limited on the island.
