35 Feet ****- MAXIMUM LENGTH INCLUDING PULLING VEHICLE IS 35 FEET. We are not a pull thru site, some backing will be required. - 35 Feet**** Long term stays (7 or more nights) please make contact before booking. I was the first person to purchase property here in 1995 in what is known as Moultrie Plantation. This is a private property community with its own private dirt road. The plantation is rich in Civil War history and people still find arrowhead 's, Civil war buttons and other Civil War related items on the dirt roads where the soldiers marched through the plantation. It is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood where owners enjoy the country life.

My cousin loved to fish and purchased 100 acres of land here 50 years ago. I wound up with this part of the property which is now surrounded by Big Hammock wildlife management area. For the past 47 years I’ve gone here to enjoy the river. The Ohoopee river splits here on the opposite bank and forms a 100 acre island before flowing into the nearby Altamaha river. Usually the river flow slows and kayaking around the island is pretty easy. There is a lot of wildlife to see here with white tail deer, turkey, waterfowl, beavers, otters, feral hogs and predators. The island is a favorite roost for every species of birds. During dry periods, the Ohoopee river water gets very clear with visibility greater than 6’ at times. Learn more about this land: Kayaking in the river, fishing, laying on the beach, wildlife viewing in this quiet setting where the Ohoopee river splits apart around a 100 acre island right before running into the Altamaha river.
