Bluebird boxes, bird feeder and birdbath are near the RV site, so you will enjoy watching nature right at your campsite. During hummingbird season, you will observe these tiny amazing birds enjoying our homemade nectar. Turtles enjoy roaming the property also. The camper pictured is in the spot where your RV will be parked. A firepit and grate are at the campsite. You will be minutes from Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, where you can swim and surf or rent horses for a beach horseback ride. Lofton Creek Kayaking and boat launches are within minutes. Several state parks are also nearby. You will have your pick of shopping and restaurants all within 15-30 minutes of your camp site. I enjoyed how peaceful it was on this property. It was very easy to pull in and out of with good water, sewer and electricity access. The wildlife out there was great with squirrels, turtles and lots and lots of birds. Fairly easy access to good shopping and the historic district of Fernandina.

Unfortunately we arrived late and spent there only one night but it was a great experience! The owners are nice and helpful people, and their campsite is beautiful, clean and very peaceful. We’d like to go back when we’ll have the chance to. I’d recommend Margaret’s land to everyone!

Weekend Trip to Lofton Retreat

My husband and I absolutely loved Lofton Retreat. Peggy was so kind. She brought over our fresh dozen of eggs and a little flower arrangement to put on the picnic table. It was so peaceful and the grounds are so beautiful. On our last day we finally got to see Walker ( the turtle) We also enjoyed taking our 4x4 Camper van out on the beach at Amelia State Park only $2 per person. We can’t wait to come back again!

We loved this beautiful quiet camp near Fernandina. There are lots of trees, a safe place to walk the pooch, and lots of privacy. It was a great base camp to explore Amelia Island in the surrounding area. Peggy and Rick we're we're also very helpful and readily available.
