An Amenities Cabin is provided for use by all RV site guests. The cabin includes a full-sized washer/dryer, a full bathroom with bidet, and an oversized jacuzzi tub. Guests must sign-up for a 4-hour timeslot. The cabin is available for use between the hours of 8am-8pm. Many of our RV sites feature private fenced paddocks for people bringing their horses or dogs. Horse visitors require all current paperwork (Coggins, etc.). Dog visitors must be social and friendly and thus are allowed to explore the farm with their owners off-leash if desired. The property includes miles of trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Bring your own horse or experienced riders may be able to ride one of ours (subject to weight/experience matching with a horse). There is a small private stocked lake open to all guests of Lizardsniffer for fishing and swimming. At the lake you will find an amenities cabin called Glowy Bobber that has a full bathroom and outdoor shower as well as Kayaks and floats for guest use.

Camp site was amazing. Jame's was very accommodating allowing me to switch sites when I realized there was no power on the site I originally booked. Location is beautiful. No light polution, can see tons of stars at night. Bathroom and shower are small but heated and air conditioned with plenty of hot water. Easy access trails to the restroom/shower. Had a lovely time.

Beautiful area! Host was very communicative (such fast response times). Area was lovely and incredibly dog safe. Booked it knowing I would be going on a cold and rainy camping trip. Still had an absolute blast. Amazing plot of land - large enough for guest limit with tons of extra space. I brought my dog and she absolutely loved it.

Great site. Fishing was good. Caught 24 lb. Catfish, a Bluegill and a large mouth Bass. Neighbors were a little loud but overall, great place to enjoy nature. Clean facilities and grounds! We will be back.

We loved our weekend at the Lizard Sniffer Ranch!! We stayed at the Wilbur site. This horse farm is a little slice of heaven. Although we camped, they also have cabins available. It was the perfect place for star gazing and relaxing. The owners were very nice and always a text away. We will definitely be back!!

Loved this campsite! It’s right by the lake with a beautiful view especially at sunrise and sunset. The spot was clean, quiet and perfect for a relaxing weekend. Great place to unwind, fish or just sit by the water. Alex has firewood at the entrance to the right under an open shed. I recommend grabbing some before you set up camp because it’s a good distance from the camp site. I thought that was a really nice bonus. Thank you Alex! Definitely coming back!

The campsite was beautiful! Everything was ready for us and it was so quiet! We were the only ones there and it felt like we stepped out of time and got to enjoy our own little secluded slice of heaven. We walked around the pond and fed the ducks. It does get dark! Make sure to bring a flash light or lantern because there is no light! We roasted marshmallows and grilled food in the firepit. We laughed, we talked, we were silly and we loved every minute! We can't wait to go back! Thank you Larissa for a wonderful time!

We loved every moment at The Lizard Sniffer Ranch! It far exceeded our expectations! There were surprises around every corner of his beautiful property. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the many paths and trails. The lake was so relaxing and Randy had every Amenity you could ever imagine! Kayaks, floats, fishing gear. The bathroom at the lake was wonderful with an outside shower that I could stay in for hours! The horses, donkey, geese, dogs and lizards were something else. There are so many beautiful little cabins for rent. Randy and his family certainly put much time and love in their vision! Randy was the most gracious host ever! We can hardly wait to return!

Weekend Trip to Camp Clatworthy

Alex's lake site was a great place to bring our rigs for a fishing weekend. Other than a few fallen trees the site was clean and quite open. The lake had fish jumping the entire time we were there and was smooth as glass. We managed to actually catch a few. Only a few things to note: -It's on / near a farm. So you better be used to farm sounds (cows, roosters, dog pens, gun shots). And seeing an occasional side by side or 4 wheeler isn't unheard of. -While our overland rigs were more than capable of making it to the campsite I would NOT recommend a passenger car. The farm road isnt well suited to low-slung vehicles and even the entrance near the paved road might be a bit of a challenge to a car to navigate - There is a metric ton of firewood right after you get on the path to the campsite. Even though we brought our own we ended up using and splitting a few cords from the pile (Thanks Alex!) -Site 1 is at a ~3 degree slant so you may need to plan to level out a rig or sleep with your feet pointing downhill. Overall the site was great. Perfect spot to get away for a bit and fish. We had 5 campers total and had AMPLE room to spare. I can see at least 10-15 fitting there comfortably. I would absolutely camp here again

I arrived very late at night my first night on a road trip and they were very accommodating. It was a little confusing coming in, but I just drove slowly and followed the grass line towards the back of the property. We went to Diamond Hill Mine and this location was a great distance away. It was nice and quiet… perfect for a weekend away.
