It is a paved road drive all the way to the entrance. Learn more about this land: We have a suburban hobby farm hidden away in the undeveloped acreage at the back of a 1960s subdivision. Everyone who comes down the driveway says "What?! How is this here? This is so cool!" And they are right. 4 friendly adult goats, 2 indoor-outdoor cats who like belly rubs, and a vegetable and ornamentals garden that hosts several Georgia natives and pollinator species. It's a happy and peaceful place! The woods around us support several owls, Coopers hawks, some deer and an occasional red fox. There is a small nature trail that features several beautiful places to meditate by the babbling creek. Another incredible stay at Rest and Relax Retreat ! I try to get up here and tent camp at least every 2 to 3 weeks. Ralph does have a couple of cabins that you can rent also but…I prefer tent camping, especially in the winter right next to the creek. As usual, it exceeded my expectations just with the beauty of the place and all the nice accommodations that Ralph provides…such as, a canopy for each tent site, a smokeless fire pit for each site, and a hammock and picnic table also for each site, oh, and did I mention the common house… where there is a seating area with plenty of outlets to recharge your phone or power station if need be, while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the provided Keurig, coffee, sugar and cream, included and or, take a hot shower at one of two bathrooms inside the common house. He also provides firewood at no charge. Most of the time I have so much wood left over that I can’t even burn it all in the weekend stay ! But if I do run low, it is no problem. I can text Ralph or usually before he turns in for the evening… he will do his walk around to each site. Making sure that everyone has anything and everything that they need, before he himself turns in for the night. The land is beautiful, so are his dogs and his goats. You won’t go wrong if you choose this place… relax by the creek 10 feet away, with a campfire going just in front of you, to soothe your anxieties away. Thank you so much again Ralph for everything!

We had an awesome time at Lula Disk House! We opted to tent camp instead of glamping and we loved the primititive area where we set up! I have never stayed somewhere so peaceful and private. The bathrooms were beautiful and well stocked, and there was a sweet dog who seems too live there who found us a few times. We absolutely loved the OG Lula course and cannot wait to return to try Red Hawk Ridge. This site is within driving distance of Tallulah gorge and Helen if you are up for the journey! We have already recommended this place to all the disk golfers we know and will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Lula Disc House

Tent camping at Lula is the way to go to enjoy multiple rounds of disc golf. Our camp site was far away from the Glamping tents, it was good to be away from the crowd. Camp site very clean, bo trash or debris. Safe property to camp on.

Another great trip to the Cove! For anyone who comes right after us, we set up your first fire logs in the firepit. We brought our own firewood but you’ll find enough logs in the wood crib to do about two fires, plus the giant stumps that are great to prolong the fire if you can get one going. George also has a bale of pine straw in there which is super helpful to get a fire started. My whole review is about fires, can you tell it was cold while we were there haha! Saw several deer and hawks. Lots of stars and quiet.

1 night at Rest And Relax Retreat

This site was perfect! Ralph had everything set up for us in advance a canopy, chairs, hammock, fire pit, and all the wood we could need. Loved the trickle sound of the stream at night. Was surprised the price included all the extras. The common area was brand new and clean. We would definitely camp here again or in one of the cabins.

Weekend Trip to River Ranch @ Summerville, GA

Doni was an incredibly gracious and kind host who went above and beyond to be helpful! The property was perfect for our single night trip, and there seem to be several different sites available depending on what you’re looking for. The spot we selected had a fire ring, had enough room for several tents, and felt secluded even though it was just a 3 minute walk back to our vehicles. There is some road noise at night you can hear, but otherwise we had a wonderful time. We had some success fishing as well along the river, which was quite exciting. The paddle board was fun as well. Would love to come back with a larger group.
