In the winter, you can see Stone Mountain in the background. We have a large fire pit, a large metal kayak and a Jon boat. Our lake is fully stocked with largemouth, smallmouth bass and blue gills. Plenty of cool places to put a tent and we are up on a hill so no need to worry about floods. The Bait Shack has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and bunkbed that has a twin and full sized bed. I stayed in the Minor Cabin, and I really can't say enough good things about it! It's located in a beautiful area, with lots of woods to explore! The cabin is furnished with everything you could want, there is even a cute kitchen when you can prepare a meal. The cabin is very spacious, extremely clean, and oh so comfortable!! The cats on property are so cute, and some even come to say hello! The bed is very comfortable, the tub is amazing, they have a nice selection of DVDs, the porch areas are so lovely! You look right into the forest from the porch! This place is so extremely peaceful! I can't wait to come back!

I enjoyed a nice, quiet retreat. It rained nearly the whole time I was there so I didn’t make use of the swing bench or the fire pit, but I absolutely would have if it was dryer. Even so, the tiny house was cozy and I was happy to cocoon inside. I would definitely visit again!

Weekend Trip to Iremide Family Farm

Had a great experience at this campsite! There were plenty of opportunities to roast food over the fire and just enjoy hanging out around the campfire, which really made for a cozy, memorable stay. We also made good use of the shower amenities and appreciated the easy access to a portable restroom — both were clean and convenient. The gas grill and generator were huge pluses and made things a lot easier during our stay. The only thing to note is that there isn’t a lot of lighting around the campsite at night. It’s definitely manageable, but I’d recommend bringing some tiki torches or other lighting sources to make navigating after dark a bit easier. Overall, it was an awesome spot and we’d definitely come back!

We had an amazing experience. The property is very family-friendly. We went with our three kids, and they could run and explore safely. Even though the host wasn’t there, everything went smoothly. She even sent freshly cut firewood with a worker and was very attentive. At one point, we called her to ask how to turn on the generator, and she kindly explained everything. The place has everything you need: heating, a fan, air conditioning, a grill, a space for a campfire with dry wood, a toilet, a shower, big inflatable mattresses, night lights, and rugs. There weren’t many blankets, but the ones there were enough since the heater kept us warm (and we only used it for about an hour and a half). Even though it rained, we stayed dry in the tent. Watching the sunrise was beautiful, and we could hear roosters in the distance. I definitely recommend it!

Evan R. and I love getting away from the wives and kids for a quiet weekend at the Oar House! It's a peaceful property and only 20 minutes from LaGrange if you want to go to any of the restrauants or breweries. We also went to Drive Bar in Hogansville to hit some golf balls and were pleasantly surprised by the awesome setup they have there!
