The micro cabin is super clean and dry, with a comfortable twin bed and a small covered porch. Guests have access to a restroom in the main house. A nearby creek and mountaintop hiking trails are accessible right on the property.
We're located 10 to 12 miles from Hayesville, NC, and Blairsville, GA, and just 5 miles from the John C. Campbell Folk School and The Crown Restaurant.
There is no electricity or running water in the cabin, so rechargeable lights are recommended. Specific parking instructions will be provided upon arrival. A profile picture is required before your stay.
Accommodations are limited to one person and one dog, depending on the dog's temperament. Fiber optic internet is available, and Verizon service has a good signal, but you'll most likely want to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The location of Micro Cabin was very serene, quiet, and beautiful, and the cabin itself was clean and inviting. The short drive up the gravel road lead right to Melissa property with brilliant view of lush ferns and soft green moss.
Melissa surely did an excellent job of painting and fitting the cabin with just the right decor - very minimal. The side porch had all one needed for the first morning coffee where I watched the first light of day, and listened to bird song. The whole experience felt rather magical to me.
I highly recommend a visit here. To top it all off, Melissa was an excellent hostess having the cabin prepped with all the essentials. I will happily revisit Less is More.

Very nice and quiet spot in the middle of nature. Has a beautiful creek that runs through the middle of everything and sounds so serene. The cabin we stayed at was the bloom and it was a very cozy and quaint, full furnishing including microwave, fridge, A/C / heat, and even running water. The bathhouses were super cool and very rustic with hot water. Would definitely recommend as a stay or stopping through

I loved The Bloom! Quaint quiet little cottage a little walk down a lovely mossy green magical path filled with berries, flowers, and all sorts of trees and wildlife. If you are a nature lover you will love The Bloom. I stayed for 14 days. My dog and I stayed warm and dry with all the rain during May. The drive in and out is pasturesque and safely cobbled. No nerve wracking steep drives. Plenty of walking areas and views at the top of the hill. I will come back in July when the berries are ripe, and I think in autumn would be a wonderful time to stay with all the activities they do such as a hay ride and wheat mazes. June is a lovely host. They also have wine tastings once a month. They have the west tubing company store out on the main road, great place to visit for refreshments and snacks, and to browse.

Weekend Trip to Mulberry Gap Adventure Basecamp
This was a lot of fun. My sister and I stayed in the Fox Den cabin. Everyone was so nice from the people who worked there to the neighbors in the cabin next to us. Usually I take more introverted types of trips but I’m actually really glad that I experienced the community and social aspect of this place. It was refreshing how positive and genuine everyone was. The meals are tasty, bathrooms are very clean, jacuzzis are awesome, cabins cute with heaters and air and mini fridge and microwave and they lock. We don’t mountain bike but now we are considering starting! Oh and everyone on staff was really on top of things from the get go with communication and emails, I loved it. It’s close to lots of hiking, wineries, the cute downtown Elijay, apple orchards, and the leaves were beautiful. We will be back for sure.

Mulberry Gap is such a cool little base camp. We loved having access to the barn for afternoon tea and games. We got breakfast one morning, and it was delicious. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were given a recommendation for a swimming hole nearby, which my kids loved. The cabin as well as all of the amenities were clean and well maintained. We will be back for further adventures!

Weekend Trip to West Preserve
This place is a little slice of heaven. Beautiful family property. Super sweet owners/hosts. We also did the tubing with them and that was a lot of fun. The cabin itself was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just remember this is "glamping". You cannot park near the cabin so pack light. It's not a long walk but we had a somewhat handicap guest with us and it was fairly challenging for them to access. Also, no fire pits are allowed near the cabins, but there are a few throughout the campground to use. One is a short walk to get to. They provided the wood and even got it started for us. They also have chairs around one of the firepits, so that was nice. The little cabin had a great A/C system, very efficient. The kitchenette was so great to have. And there's a mini fridge that even has a freezer for ice. There is a porta potty and a bathhouse just a short walk from the cabin. Was happy the porta potty had hand sanitizer on the wall. It was kept clean. The only suggestion I would have for the owners is to place some curtains/shades/blinds on the windows for us "light sensitive" sleepers. I woke when the sun came up. There are no window coverings currently. If you like extra blankets, make sure to pack and bring those too, as there is just the one blanket on the bed, which was fine for us. Love this place and already planning a return trip! Also, good cell phone service...which is a plus for me since I have to keep up with work emails.
