Little River is considered to be the purest, natural flowing river in the state. Bring your fishing gear and kayaks. Sit on the rocks at the base of the waterfall under the rhododendrons and holly trees, and wade in the water in the warm months. Park on the side of the road in front of the Cynefin sign. There are solar lights illuminating the path to the tent if you arrive after dark. There you will find a that you can use to bring your luggage down. Other things to note • The river will rise and fall depending on how much rain we are getting. It tends to be lower late summer to early fall. We cannot guarantee water levels. • This is primitive off grid camping. There's no electricity or running water. We recommend bringing a portable battery pack to charge devices. • Please be respectful of any wildlife (there are white tail deer, raccoons, weasels, harmless black snakes, mink, foxes, coyotes, many birds, and the extremely, and we do mean extremely, rare black bear), while fishing in the little river is allowed, hunting is prohibited.

If it gets too cold, you can switch the units to the “cool” setting or turn off. For example, an easy, straightforward drive down I-20 West makes Turkey Track Retreat a perfect quick weekend getaway for Atlanta residents looking to escape the city noise. To the west, directly behind the cabin, there are over nine miles of continuous forest before reaching a hard-top road, and beyond that, over six miles to the next road. To the north, there are over sixty miles of continuous forest to the next road. Pinhoti Trailheads are nearby. The ten acres is mostly forested, and all surrounding properties are similarly wooded. The back side of the property is bordered by a year-round creek. There are two open meadows, one of which is a pawpaw orchard. Trails and a covered pavilion are located down by the creek. In season, you can enjoy blueberries, blackberries, and muscadines. Because the property is so remote—and because the surrounding areas adhere to International Dark Sky standards—you can enjoy spectacular stargazing on clear nights. It is 20.54 acres peacefully located between big land owners on each side, and a creek that runs through the middle that separates north from south pieces. Our trails are groomed and some just deer worn. We have one camp site that is rural and rustic. There is a bucket for the restroom and antique, old white kitchen sink for hand washing just outside it. There is no running water yet, but working on getting a water reservoir out there asap. No electricity yet a single power cord could be run for extra $10.00 for your visit. There is a fire pit close to the tent spot on, “Skip’s Campsite”. Another camp site” Aqua-Fine-A” that has a walk in creek access, and you have to cross the creek to get to that one. It is farther away from “Skip’s bathroom access. It has a more established flag stone fire pit. It is our original primitive sight. There is no water reservoir or possibility of electricity at “Aqua-Fine-A” campsite. Everything must be packed in and out on foot. Both sights require a hike to campsites on foot with uneven rooted trails. {You are welcome to use our well loved red wheelbarrow to haul items in}. There is access to a bigger fire pit “M & M fire pit”, and a propane grill option (this is first come first serve/sharing spot). More campsites developing over time and there is a massage practitioner on site if you are looking for the whole experience (29 years experience in healing modalities and shamanic blood line). If you are looking to experience nature cabin style then, “The Minor Escape” is for you. This has a full refrigerator, full stand up filtered water shower, kitchen sink, separate master, two bedroom lofts with ladder access, kitchen sink, ceiling fans, window a/c units for summer and space heaters for winter (Eden pure heater that shows fireplace flames). Our family loves this land and there is always new areas being cultivated in various spots. You will see us out there either with our hobby farm of animals, gardening or building a new area. I am a teacher, guide, artist, and healer. This land is sacred and magical. It is used to heal, restore, inspire and rejuvenate many locally and internationally.

My fiance and I (and our cat Blair) loved our stay here. Eston and Chris were very responsive the whole trip when any questions came up. It was very cute and cozy and everything was so well prepared. It was great getting to meet Lady Cooper as well. Eston was really kind in letting us do a later check out as well. It was a very nice and relaxing trip and the sky was absolutely beautiful at night. A lovely home away from home with everything you could need for a lil rest and relaxation... a/c to beat the heat, patio grill, wrap around mountainscape complete with lightning bug show at dusk, and a sweet pup named Lady Cooper for porch sitting company. The hosts went over and beyond in sharing their property and kindness, including a hand-delivered, freshly picked and baked blackberry cobbler (which I devoured within minutes, thanks again Chris!) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Spring Dale Hipcamp hosted by Eston and his wife. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The campsite was peaceful, well maintained, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our pet, Naina, had an amazing time too! She especially loved playing with their friendly dog, Lady. Watching them have so much fun made our stay even more memorable. Thank you, Eston, for your wonderful hospitality. We truly enjoyed our time at Spring Dale and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, pet-friendly getaway. We can't wait to visit again!

This site exceeded expectations! The hosts stocked the RV with every single thing the average person would need to feel at home, and that’s exactly what it felt like. A home away from home. I was also pleasantly surprised that there was an ABUNDANCE of blackberries on site to pick! Not only that, they had a rock pile of rocks collected from the property that were full of character, and many of them with crystals which they allowed me to take as well. I came home with blackberries and beautiful rocks/crystals as if I visited a gift shop on my way out. The hosts themselves were close in location but very hospitable and respectful of my privacy. I will very likely be returning for another visit

Weekend Trip to Iremide Family Farm

This campsite was exactly what we were looking for. Tent camping with upgraded amenities that made it easier with two kids under three. Tent was clean, there were games and outdoor toys available for the kids, the grass was well maintained and we spent our entire weekend barefoot. Air conditioning was available if needed, but we didn’t use it. We were 7 minutes drive from the Georgia renaissance festival. Our entire weekend was magical and our boys’s first time camping and first renn fest was absolutely spectacular.

We loved the area and the vision being developed. The tent was very comfortable and it weathered the severe thounderstorm that passed through over night. Lots of land to roam and explore and a pond for fishing (bass). Loved the hammocks and hiking trails. This would be a great place for a family reunion or other large gathering wanting to have space and be out in nature. Hosts were great! We had a lovely chat and tour to see what's ahead in their plans. Highly recommend following to see what comes next!

The cabins are extremely clean, have comfortable beds and even have Keurig coffee makers to help with your early morning rides. Bathrooms are also very clean and a 20 second walk from camp. The owner is very knowledgeable on the trail system, and was happy to share his favorite trails.
