Very private woods, gardens, and an aquifer-fed pond teeming with wildlife. A short walk to our quaint park on Choctawhatchee Bay. The water is calm for swimming and paddling. A short drive or bike ride to the finest beaches in the world. The nearby 331 bridge allows some freedom from most of the tourist traffic on Hwy 98. There are just two campsites overall and they are in the shade and just one camper site that has the shade till early afternoon. Kids are safe to explore our long dead-end road with only two neighbors at the end.

We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. We have a 32' sailboat that has been in our family for 3 generations and our oldest son runs charters on it. You can charter our pontoon boat for as many as 6 people to take you to Crab Island as well as some other spots that only locals know about. We can also accommodate up to 2 people on an inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.

There are two woodland campsites plus one evet tent site on a concrete slab, all with fire rings and 15 amp, 110v power and potable well water are available within 50 feet of each site. Please note the aerial map of the property is not up to date! There is one port-a-potty as well as a washer, dryer and laundry line available at the top of the hill next to a little gift shop. These are free to use during your stay. In the gift shop you can find unique vintage collectible items like toys, figurines and dishware, plus pre-owned leather jackets, name brand shoes and handbags and more. You'll also find new, fun Big Foot / Sasquatch items for every budget! Fresh, organic free range chicken eggs are also often available. A refreshing woodland open air bath house with a toilet, sink, and indoor and outdoor cold water showers are down the hill near the river and Site #3. There are also 2 fire rings, 2 small tables and a double picnic table down at the riverside, plus a few solar lights scattered throughout the property. Four wheel drive is not required unless you want to drive all the way down to the river. Site #3 is on the river front in a flat, open valley.
